Should anyone on this forum be busy exposing individuals lifestyles be it at home or in diaspora  for others to learn? Sure, but it seems to me of limited importance, in the context we wish to discussing them here(it's different when we speak of lifestyles in which particular individuals have really great power, over and above the societal constraints ).

On one hand  I don't disagree discussing certain behavioural disabilities , but I think the observation Bomba has taken deflects attention from more important factors. Suppose that Malawians in BD have decided that they don't want any more part in what other immigrant Malawians are doing. I mean lets face it: we spend so many months preparing for lets say a “6the July event” where we put on our expensive bling and clothes just to give a false impression that life is a bed of roses here.  And if we people really want to understand the decisions and choices of Bradford Malawians in their way of behaviour , we are back to broader questions of societal structure. Also, while if Londoners (the Abres) are indeed a model for subsequent " immigrant Malawians superstars ," there is no need to run through the record set by BD then.

You're absolutely right Mr Bomba with your observation and revealing outcome about what BD Malawians are going through completely unknown to most Malawians back at home," but I don't think the problem is the failure to know about their inability to communicate in English on one part. Talking Chizungu is not one of the policies of BD Malawians and respect that . Whats so special about chizungu anyway? Don’t we see all these Eastern Europeans speaking and talking bollocks all the time, do they get ashamed with that? I wouldn't quite put it that way. Societies are abstractions; it's individuals who act within a societal  framework. They make choices, and are responsible for them. If we want to understand the choices that are made, and the conditions that shape and direct them, we would be wise to look at the societal framework. You Malawians who don’t feel proud of Bradford people ,  who don't want to accept them are out. Kusavala bwino ko , well , that doesn't absolve individuals of responsibility for what they do. Rather, it means that if we want to understand what is going on we should try to comprehend the their societal structures; the personality and personal history .

Bomba May I remind you that this forum is not for personal attacks. But it is  there for Malawians to share Postive and constrctive issues.

Iam a Bradforder and on behalf of the people living in Bradford I call this as an insult which can not be left to go just like that. I ask you to come up with a refined research before coming on this forum.

Malawians in Bradford are a hard working people, focused and matured, full of vision and goals. They know what they are here for. If you came to this town to be little this community, You will be amazed if you go in depth. They are wonderful people.

Just to correct you, no one eats pedgree because we have money, No one dresses like a farmer because we can buy any fashion.Dont worry about English we do communicate with any one in UK.

YOUR FOOD OF THOUGHT

You have stripped yourself Necked you will never have the same respect you commanded before  this hip of a double B you wrote. If you have nothing to write shut up or quit all together. As malawians we have to respect one another.

On behalf of Malawians from Bradford I ask you appologise and a complete withdrawal of your statement as soon as possible or face consequences.

Wow! wow! wow! its enough to ask for complete withdraw of his statement but to threaten him with unknown consequences thats unheard of, what are you uncle sam trying to police the world? Come on Pompido there are better ways you can get to him not threats and do you in your right mind think he will be afraid just because you threatened him on the web when he uses a name that doesnt even make sense?

Maybe he has struck a raw nerve, in that he is your friend and he just wrote exactly what you do!! ha ha ha

If he is your friend tell him the truth. We dont want people who have absolutely nothing sensible to  write. And it remains appology on demand. Its a high time some users of this forum stopped the habbit of writing such.

Bomba ,  I might guess your general background in understanding language. Of course I do realise that there are certainly questions about the use and choice of language on this forum, and yours is one very important question but you don’t have to be a professional linguist to understand and see what I wanted to say . Its simply  just common sense. I think it requires having ordinary intelligence and looking at the facts. And the same is true throughout, I mean the terms and choices everyone uses on this forum are sometimes twisted in ways to satisfy the needs of whoever’s using them, which turns out mostly to be confusing readers who are lazy at reasoning issues. Spoon feeding ? ? No time for that. Wake up son.

What a sick individual you are!!!! On 3rd October You wrote "Manyasa In UK" And this time you have written "Malawians In BD" BOM if you have any problems, this is not the site to solve them. Find other  means. If your writing creativity is hefty go to a Night School. Or just read what the cream of this forum write. If you are sick which Iam now sure you are, please visit a physician. If it has to do with demons Try to go to the nearest Pastor to pray for you.

We dont want rubbish again stop!!!!

If there is anyone so pathetic to post such ridiculous slander about the Bradford peoples ways and habits then they need to see a doctor. Better still get along to your village and look up you singanga.

The world is full of people trying to tear it up . For once try and patch the rifts that exist in our society namely where you live. Good deeds begin at home and with people around you.

Then again it's about how comfortable you are in your own skin. What makes you the person you are is what should matter to you and not what someone wants you to be. Am not supporting any adverse behaviour here but one has to do what he/she thinks will help and damn the consequences and whatever pips say. If a friend has bad breath, it's up to you to buy them sweets, chewing gum or go all the way in gettin a toothbrush with toothpaste for them!!!!!!!Or should i say, do something about it yourself and If it gets worse, then let them know.........but be considerate as well!!!!!!!! Heck, we cant please everybody!!!!
