to my dismay, this forum has taken a blind compulsion forcing everyone to engange in non-issues.the situation on this forum is not only irrational, but lacking the stimulation we all crave in order to engange in a debate. no offence to anyone,i just feel like we are losing touch.it looks like we have become uncritical of our areas of ignorance. there was a time when you could think malawiana, dream malawiana, the topics were stimulating in some way, everyone seemed to be searching for knolewdge. everyone contributed to modern day thought, how i miss that time, those days when you come from UNI or wrk or pubs before even eating you would push straight to your pc and see whats new on malawiana.not anymore.

we need to free ourselves from existing compulsions, lets not cling to resentment, bitterness and hatred, nothing is irretrievably lost if we cling to issues that dont teach or change our lives, i thought we are all capable of giving each other or striking each other with a lightning flash of new perception to life.be in a position to know that its not game's or abre's or ngwazi's knowledge that can stirr your ego ambitions to becoming a thinker, but your own wisdom which can stimulate the creativity in you.lets take this forum as a road which branches out to new pathways of understanding. if abre comes with his belief in science lets give him the listening ear and see where he stems from,if i present to you revolutionary ideas, give me the platform to speak my mind, take this as the new internship that opens new horizons to our quest for knowledge.lets bring the old malawiana with new ideas from che hakim, bingiza,or sibweni. what do you all think?

Umm! This was really food for thought. Come to think of it, this forum is really going a different way. There are some individuals on the forum who make sensible and interesting arguments, but there are some whose main aim is to prove a point that no-one can refute them. And when one tries to do that they resort to name calling and obscene languages. It seems as if we are under certain guidance around here. I won’t call any-one an idiot because we have different point of views. It doesn’t make any sense. Be it as it may some folks think that they are knowledgeable but we have just discovered their Achilles heel, they can’t send topics which our inquiring minds and yearning hearts are looking for.

This is a forum for crying out loud. That's exactly what its here for. Name-calling, debates, arguments are all welcome. Where else can one express themselves anonymously. If you for instance said most of the things you do here in public you'll be laughed at as moronic and uneducated. Least you can do it here and only risk a challenge from me or Ngwazi or Game. You couldn't even possible face either of us in public. We probably won't even listen to you let alone speak to you.

Not that you are a bad person. No. But you are an ignorant and noisy one at that. Game can go one and on at least he has the courage of his convictions and is sometimes willing to accept his errors of judgement.

You one the other hand, has the annoying habit of being wrong ALLTHE TIME!

Don't worry Game, it's temporary. Low tide. I bet you when winter sets in and everyone prefers (or has nothing better to do than) stay indoors, the forum will get much more interesting.

Game,

It might help if you throw in one of your controversial "wag the dog" topics to get us started.

When i joined this forum i had to shy away for sometime because of the likes of Ayatolah and others who used to take this forum as a platform for their success am not a hater for those doing better than me but it become a nuisance to read all about their personal stuff that i felt was irrelevant.

Then i visited again then just like a flash there are topics that make you think there is Game, Abre, Ngwazi, Pope, Awmygawd, firstbend and the rest i really started to see the other side of the forum things that make you think, no more was it that one tries to be boast of their personal stuff, you disagree on one topic you agree on the other, name calling isnt a problem to me I WILL BACKOUT OF A TOPIC AM NOT COMPETENT IN AND WILL ASK FOR THINGS I DONT KNOW i never for  once feel ashamed if somebody makes bad of my posting as long as its true and i have really seen the light out of it, osati mabodza.

Game the topics come and go, just like life we have our highs and lows.

Abre what do you mean “us” are you guys in the same surfing pool or something? Who said anything about facing you in public, and what makes you think you are all that perfect? If you could have learnt a lesson or two from those who accept their errors of judgement. I would rather meet Yusuf Islam than meeting a conniving fella like you.

What makes you think you are right all the time, are you my professor or what?

Mwana Game, you strike like a lion and fixes like a black mamba. We are like in a village where all kinds of topics concerning humans will have to surface. We can not be stimulating 365 days,we have  to slow down in some places and come up fast again.

I forgot to ask you a question, are you married my friend?I know abre is

Is Ayatola relly dead or his just dead in  our land of malawiana? If he is dead was he involved in a robbery or just normal death.

Why ask if he was involved in a robbery? He used to sound like one hell of a successful person, maybe you are telling me that he was a conman?

Game,

My belief is that society tend to be more active on slime. If we had something to do with 'vibrators bring joy than the real thing' kinda topic, we'd see lots of input. Let's take the latest scandallous topics and see how quick 'everyone' responded. Human nature. I guess we shall see more opinions when something saucy comes up.

people like scandle thats a fact, everywhere you go even the UK the tabloid papers here make money through scandalous celebs, this forum wouldnt be at all attractive if it wasnt for controversy,am not talking of stupid controversy like calling each other names and chest beating,we need intellectually driven controversy,if we can swivel our intellectual integrity and focus on issues that will spark new ideas that change lives, from this forum we can breed leaders and influential people.

our fathers didnt have internet, but they found a means to fight for our freedom, they utilised all mediums that reached out to people even in smaller groups, they believed in the word of mouth.malawi is in turmoil right now,we think its a peaceful country but there is alot of human rights abuse going on,our political system is a non-starter,well accomplished young people with academic credentials cant operate in a nepotism engulfed environment.if we can share ideas and promote each other on this forum, there is nothing to stop us.but we are busy mud slinging and uprooting each other from what we believe in.thats the problem.

we need real issues to be discussed.now Ayatollahs demise is getting the best of me.
