Surprisingly Ralph after advising the president to take the cosntitutionality of section 65 to court, he has started challenging the motion by representing the public affairs committee who are for it.
Is this moral for him? I know as a lawyer he needs the money, or he has a point to prove to Bingu that he is good?

I cant agree more with you, a politician resigns from a party he becomes meat for his former bed fellows calling him all sorts of names and his resignation timely.
If only we can do away with the politicians and remain with pure statesmen who tackle real issues not kutukwanana.

I personally believe Kasambara has just returned to what he does best, being a lawyer.Ralph was not a Politician,he was trying to be such but I believe he has seen that his long term goals and attractiveness will dimnish if he remains affiliated to a political party.
So yes,as a Lawyer he owes his duty of care to his client,to act in the best interests of the client and that is why even murderers get legal presentation despite the amount of evidence against them.As an Attorney General Ralph owed his loyalty to the President and government. Its not a question of morals, when he was the AG,he was the government Chief legal advisor and therefore he had to act in the best interests of the government and at that time one of issues was about the survival of the Bingu government if it lost those MPs that were supporting it due to section 65.As a legal person,he realised that by referring the case to a constitution court,he was buying the government time, time to reorganise and strategise even if he himself felt that it was an unwinnable. Now that he is out of government,he has a different client with a differing need than the earlier one and he will act in the best interest of this new client.
But one thing for sure is that Bingu is in trouble!!!

Teejay,
a simple understanding of past and present tenses on your part would help here, was and is are not the same and therefore one should be able to differentiate their use and impact in a sentence,I rest my case!
