Ha ha! Actually, they didn't pay K9 each (or 27 in total). The actual amount is (K30-5+3)/3  or 9.3333. If you multiply that by 3 you get 28, add the stolen K2 and it becomes K30. The trick in your narrative is how you jump to the K9 with out actually working it out, convincing but illogical.

Bingiza, I thought you are a clever chap but nay you are like your name.The trio paid K25 and how do you get K9 each.K25 divide by three.The discount should not be tampered, just less K2 which the crafty waiter stole.Now the move is as follow;K25 plus K3 given to three guys plus K2 retained by the waiter.Polish your written english dude.
