There has never been any record of the total extinction of any race in history as far as I'm concerned. If 2 world wars didn't substantially deplete Europe's population to extinction and slavery didn't do the same to black folk I don't see how your above list can do anything at all.

Truth is, it's never going to happen.

I'm beginning to get worried about you continued, consistent cynicism about the end of the world. Have you joined some cult or something?

The world isn't going to end my friend... Not in this lifetime. And black people are here to stay as long as that.

According to statistics Malawi current population is 12 m by 2050 it will be 28m.Nigeria 128m by 2050 it will be 356m.Ukraine is 47m by 2050 37m.UK is 60m ,2050 63m.Russia is 143m,2050 will be 110m.Uganda is 37m by2050, 132m.May be the factors you mentioned are going to change the figures and do not forget that Europe is warming up and the population of China is a threat to world's natural resources,I can only smell an invansion of mother Afrika.Brace

Most of the factors that you've mentioned (and others that come to mind) are either temporary (albeit very long term) or too insignificant to cause the extinction of a whole race although they are all major headaches. Armed conflict doesn’t last forever. In fact, Africa has never been more peaceful in recent times. Genocide in Africa has never been as bad as that in Europe (Kosovo, WW2) so extinction caused by (intra-African) genocide seems unlikely. Stronger economies will stifle most of the other factors i.e. poverty, HIV, famine etc.

My guess is that the only events could kill the black race are those that would do the same for mankind as a whole e.g. asteroids, nuclear war, etc.

some crazy thinking! black power is forever others have tried they failed, take for example the aborigines in australia (just an example) were inter married to wipe them out but they are still there, genocide cant wipe all of you out unless if you take the japanese way of kamikaze but the gut feeling of genocide is you want to be the only one left as superior unless you tell me the white are coming to conduct genocide(then give it another name) i agree with abre and the other guy (the statician ha ha ha) number will always go up,maybe some of you guys in the west have a serious problem of the buck in your families ending with you surely i will marry a black malawian (if i chose to) and the legacy conyinue

the black race cannot just disappear just like that if somebody is crazy enough to nuke the whole world then maybe, but i dont think so

He's one of those people (like Ayatollah) who periodically emerge from their sewer to air some worthless opinion, start an argument, and when it gets too hot disappear again.

I some times believe in the theory of evolution ' Survival of the Fittest' but these are some of the factors which can really have an impact on the black race although some of them are minor.

Look at the population of Africa, compare it with India, China, and other sections of the world, you will really realise that some thing will really happen in the near future. I dont believe that the world will end and everything will stop existing on this planet, but factors which led to extinction of other primitive animals e.g Dinosours can also have an impact on this planet. One of such factors can be HIV Aids which is spreading at a high rate in the sub saharan.

Actually contrary to popular belief AIDS doesn't have the capacity to wipe out Sub-Saharan Africa, let alone any race.

AIDS rate has decreased slightly over the past few years thanks to cheaper anti-retroviral drugs made in India and Brazil, plus campaigns by several AIDS charities. It's working. Slowly.

AIDS isn't airborne. That's a plus. Although there's no cure yet, it's controllable. Preventable. It's only a matter of time. There're several other factors too numerous to list here.

The theory of evolution is not something one "believes" in. It's just a fact of life on earth. man is quite advanced that it'll take a lot more than a disease to rid of us.

Thanks Abre , I knew you will comment and present something important but any way a certain groups of individuals will disappear and the only extinction which will happen will be for those who will die young before having off-springs e.g. when a young man or woman dies when he does not a child to carry his or her chromosomes or any hereditary material into the next generation. All of us alive has one thing in common. All our ancestors have successfully reproduced, besides what must have been almost incredible odds. You and I have ancestory going back to millions of years; each stage haveing successfully mated.

Of course there would be a time when humans wouldn't not exist. That goes without saying. Is it now or soon? I don't know. It seems sometimes to me that it might also happen by the hand of man. Einstein was once quoted saying that he didn't know what form the third world ward would be fought but was certain that the fourth would be fought with sticks and stones. A profound but scary thought considering that we now have the ability to destroy the earth.

I am certainly sure of one thing. That America would be the cause of it.
