Anyone who seeks to scare and intimidate Malawian members on this forum believing that he has learned all he needs to know or all there is to learn should know that thus making a critical error. I believe that all members, veteran or newbie’s on this forum have a reasonable recommended basic education evidenced by the nature and correctness of discussions that take place. We are our own witnesses to these postings, arguments and opinions which are of the highest level-headedness. We don’t have a “Hedimasitala” here. Whatever being educated means no-one should claim to have attained the highest merit on memorisation of numerical figures and words. Albert Einstein, one of the great geniuses of our age, once said: “A day without learning is a day wasted. There is so much to learn and so little time to learn it.” He followed his own precept by continuing to work and study diligently until his death. We are inspired by many of great people who never stopped learning. We must never stop having postings on this forum. It’s more than educative.
Colonel Sanders, of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame, learned the fast food business and franchising in his sixties. "Live and learn" is a wise motto to live by if you agree that no ones education is ever complete. It reminds us that we can always learn something that will enrich our lives and the lives of others. We may need to let go of some outmoded ways of thinking and acting in order to try a new way. But when we do, we will find that life is more exciting and fulfilling that we would ever dreamed possible. Ask Abres if he has finished his studies.

and it nice to see that u live by example, you seem to have learned to become more articulate then you were in your initial postings on this forum..... youve learned English grammer !
but ur right about intimidation, Free speech my brother!
I couldn’t stop laughing reading through most of the replies to this discussion, and I was like now we are going to talk about freedom of speech. I like you matchona! Well, Abres is trying to be political here and I quote: “The right to freedom of speech doesn’t include the right to be taken seriously...” Funny, but he is right: We must never take his rhetoric seriously about him having left Malawi when he was a toddler and that his family went in exile during MCP reign.
Whether Abres like it or not, free-easy talk and thought is a basic Net Discussion members yearning, as Malawians want to be able to say what they wish, to express their ideas, desires, and feelings. Of course it’s easy to say that everyone should have freedom of speech on this forum, but it is just as easy to present reasons for restricting freedom of speech. Still, some member's speech like Abres is so hateful, violent, and harmful to the harmony of other members. Of course it’s often easy to convince everyone that certain things should not be allowed to be said on this forum. We are all Malawians, remember? Izi ndizocheza tu, don’t forget. Most would agree that free speech on this forum does not include the right to talk about hiring someone kukagwirilira mkazi waeni, or to endanger others by yelling “ndikakunenela ku fans yaku Immigration just to cause panic. However, most members would also not support the idea that anyone who says something unpopular should be silenced, because that would mean free speech only includes the freedom to agree with the current majority. And most members would not support the idea that "harmony" is so important that we should not be permitted to express ideas designed to try to improve our own society just because those ideas are disliked by JRC and crew. Well, there are still questions about what constitutes "speech," what types of speech, if any, are not entitled to protection, and how other interests should be weighed when judging speech. May be its not important as this debate probably will never end. But what about the synonymous term freedom of expression?
