This is pretty good for historys sake. Imagine we are in Malawi as students in the year 2050, we're 10 years old, and in a history class. It would be easier to understand who Ngwazi was

I find this infrastructure ok but not a "wow" and definitely not worth justifying all the 100 million MK that went into building it. As for history ,Woza477, we dont need building like this one to know the hostory of a dictator . I still cry for all the records and crucial information about other real founders of Malawi that was destroyed. our history was rewritten to please a dictator and avoid his wrath. Bvuto limene ndaona apa ndikusaganiza.Someone dies who was a thief and a robber,during his funeral you say,he was a good man and will miss all his good works.Kamuzu dies and what are you saying? "wow" and definitely not worth justifying all the 100 million MK that went into building it.

Grow up and look at the positive side of Kamuzu. Negativity will not help you and trust me Kamuzu did alot for Malawi and you know it.We dont need to count the good things he did!!!!

I hate him for failing to plan our cities properly. Of all the cities I have been to in Africa, our cities are the worst. The main roads look like location roads. No summer parks or whatever.

Aise, it was the British that designed Blantyre city. If you come to the Uk you will notice the same structures that you see in Malawi.There is no way they can widen their roads because of the side buildings. Unayiwona Lilongwe,someone for saw the future kuti magalimoto adzachuluka ndiye there is space for widening and so forth. When Kamuzu was coming to Malawi Blantyre had already been built and designed.

I agree with you for Blantyre but what about Lilongwe? Can we have four lanes between Biwi and Mnchinji roundabout? It now takes 2hrs to travel this short distance. In general the plan of Lilongwe is too poor.

i agree,lilongwe was poorly designed,the chinese garden now is the graveyard for fallen dictators and the beautiful landscape with nice meandering pathways have all been dug up,the city council cant afford to run it,land is being distributed without proper planning.we dont even have a railway company that operates,people now use the rail tracks to perform magic,"njanje na mano" mnchiji road our gateway to the victoria falls is like a road in the townships,no signs,potholes have turned to drumholes,road users have to detour during rainy season due to dilapidated roads.and i reckon whoever is responsible for maintaining our roads has other plans.
