guys this is from the nation newspaper,i find it appalling seeing alot of people die due to lack of medicine and hospital equipment yet some dim witted moronic embecile floods his house with them.and we crucify each other for calling it the dump.
Police impound truckloads of government drugs by Jack McBrams, 22 March 2006 - 05:27:19 As the country’s hospitals continue to suffer severe drug shortages, Police on Tuesday morning seized eight Land Rover loads of medical drugs and hospital equipment from a house at Blantyre’s Mthandizi Township in Bangwe. Bangwe Police Officer-in-Charge Senior Superintendent Christopher Chiwanda said his police officers conducted a secret operation at 0030hrs GMT after receiving a tip from “someone in the community”. “We did not find the owner of the house but we arrested three watchmen who were guarding it and recovered drugs that took us eight trips to transport in our vans,” he said.

What do you call it,a crime or conspiracy.(joke) Not only that boy am told laboratory drugs have gone missing at bottom hospital. And we expect our economy to tick.As malawians we dont even know what we have to give our nation,we are bent on draining what would benefit us....sad to see ARVs were part of the stolen drugs.Shame,shame,shame....and Bingu promised me all moon and stars.

thats what you get when your president is a psychotic brute, dont believe everything politictians promise you its like when you want to win a woman you make sure you look your very best just to impress her then real you starts to come out after laying the pipe.bingu is no different to his predecessors and maybe he is even worse but because he came in as a qualified mechanic people thought he will get the job done accordingly,to hell they were wrong.
think of how many people die or dont get proper treatment due to poor healthy facilities and to see someone nicking whats left of it is just absurd,no wonder Bingu is busy trying to impress the IMF the the situation at home is uneven.

I hope u were alwayz true to her & u haven't changed!!!! Politics is a dirty game; u screw whoeva comes in ur way making dem believe that all's gonna be milk & honey with you in power but alas! Once you get there, hell breaks loose!!!! The worst is yet to come!!
Abre, where is your input here? Game is trying to help you out you know......Come on mate! One more chance of highlighting how a dump mw is yet again!!!! Ukaziputa limba!!!!What the hell are you waiting for???
Its kinda funny to read that the Police acted based on a tip. What tip? The police don't need to be tipped, the evidence is everywhere, markets, streets and what have you. The prescription drug trade takes place right in front of the whole nation and our politicians and law enforcers choose to turn a blind eye of what is going on. This is indeed a pathetic situation when a government fails to recognise the dangers of people consuming these prescribed drugs without consulting professionals i.e doctors. Let alone lack of proper storage and risk of contamination.
If the government of Malawi is failing to take care of this problem perhaps western countries could come in and intervene because this is indeed a dangerous situation and makes the effort that goes into making these type of drugs go down the drain when the drugs become inaffective.
As much as I want to agree with you my fellow country men. The president has to take some of the blame but on the other hand the responsibility has to be shared amoung every single Malawian.
Ethics come into play. Unfortunatelly they vary according to every individual. If you are a theif it doesnt matter if you are in Malawi or over seas you will steal no matter what. Most people have the idea of believing that they are stealing from a large Organization (the govt)which wont miss it. It takes a little thought to notice that your brother and sister are the ones that will suffer.
How many people in Malawi have joined politics just to swindle money. Its embeded in most malawians. It all goes down to your ethics and moral values. Law enforcement can uncover so much but the rest lies in our hands.
May be they should add an ethics class in secondary school.
