I have just learnt the news that Malawi police have beaten a young man to death in a land dispute with a Burundi on saturday last week. There is nothing wrong with the police to intervene in such cases, but what bothers me is that why is it that our police always happen to protect the interest of the foreigners over the locals, the people they swear to protect?
May be the Burundians was on the right side,I wish we could hear the whole episode for a better comment.Who owned the land? What prompted the police to react to the malawian.

the issue is why did the police kill the man instead of just solving the dispute, thats another thing about malawi people give a blind eye to police brutality, its like living in a police state or kosovo.the police are not trained to respect human rights, they dont even read you your rights when arresting you.this shows how under equipped our police force is.

So what you are implying is that he deserved to be killed then because he was wrong?
