Mr president do you really know how life is like in the US. Dont be fooled by what you see on MTV or the pictures here on this site that they are partying and having fun all the time. Life in the US or Europe is not all that great as you might think. Life there is very expensive people have to work really hard to earn a living. Some have even more than one job with very little free time. As foreigners a lot of these people have to accept the odd jobs that the locals dont want like working in factories, nursing old people, cleaning jobs etc. They say grass is greener on the otherside. You unfortunately are not the only one who wants to go to US so do a million other malawians out there. Although i am hard on you i hope for your sake that someone will help you and you can experience it for yourself.

Opong,
Thanks for the remark but one thing I need to correct you is that I am not a liar. I keep it real. I guess you are taking it from the jokes I posted ealier on? Well that was a joke just a joke. Jokes can be like a play. Scenes can be different from reallity. I had to set the scene in west viginia regardless of where I stay. I could have said Rome in Italy do you really think anyone could have thought Rome has gone to Malawi because the writer is from Malawi or the writer is lying he is in Italy?
I am not trying to attach anyone but to make my point very clear, I need to clear out the misconception.
I need to talk to my fellow guys in this forum please dont shut me up.
If there was any one who wanted to belive the above quoted remark please withdraw and trust me I stay In Malawi, Blantyre.
Can I ask you one favour, Please withdraw your statement above. Ine Ndili ku Malawi ndipo sindikunama.
By the way yesterday was my first time to be on this forum and I posted something like "Please welcome the president" Is this how you welcome people.

Nali
Thanks alot for the advice, I am will re evaluate my options again. I want to experience different things in life.
I know of those stories you are talking about. I also know that Home is best. I need to experience a diferent life in all.
I will be the first one to welcome you to this website. You know after what i wrote i didnt expect you to respond the way you have. People on this website tend to take things personally. If attacked they come up with things like chibulutu, ignorance etc. Travelling is a learning experience. You sound young do what ever you can. Where there is a will there is a way. You never know where your destiny lies. It will all depend on your effort. Good luck.

President, welcome to the forum. Firstly I want to commend you about your positive attitude you have. Normally what we see on this site is that after the response Nali submitted you could have blasted and be puffing thru your ears that akukukaniza kubwera ku States. All the same it's true what he said in his posting about the western countries but at the same time let me assure you Brotherman (I assume you are a man) life is better here than it is at home. I visited home in the last 2 years and trust you me even though there are times here I do 2 jobs myself to patch up my lifestyle I still can't complain when I compare with what I saw home. There are a lot of things I've accomplished here which I know I couldn't if I was still home.
Check out www.scholarships.com and you will find all sorts of scholarships you can apply to make your life a little easier with tuition and stuff. A little word of advice, if you happen to apply for some (don't just apply for one) do put some extra-curricular activities such as playing soccer cos I have a lot of eastern africa friends whom I went to school with and were under soccer scholarships and yet they couldn't even play. It's just the way of kumponda mzungu.
All the same welcome Bro, and wish you all the best in your search for greener pasture (yeah I said greener!!)
