I couldn't believe it is happening today.Is it a crime to join the state president to SADC meeting?I just read in the paper that the two MCP mps have apologised to JZU and he was very happy about it.Does John fit in multi party era.Are the MPs free under him,then how can a vllager be free under his mighty rule.


Two Mcp mps who accompanied Bingu to Botswana sadc meet have been forced to apologise to Tembo or face an unspeccified action

well each party has its own rules and for its own good they have to be followed


so JOHN can and is fitting in this system that is why he can do as he wants malawi being a democratic nation and for the mp's it si within their rights to leave the party if they are unhappy about it.


in most cases people follow the president just coz of the money they get nothing more so i wouldnt be surprised and i think it is the case with these mps

Ma dear,the issue is not Party rules,John has advised all his boys to disregard any offer from the gvt.he has told them not to support the gvt of Bingu,reason he wants him to fail.But who will fail,its the Malawi nation.What he is doing is simply denying a nation the talent it is having.We should not be supporting politics of zimukanike.


The other danger is how he is handling his MPs.They should be free to participate in the paarty as well as the gvt.If they support the GVT doesnt mean they are DPP.For your info the gvt is not composed of dpp,no.Tisamubakile ameneyo ali ndi mtima wolamula mwankhaza.

well i think he is just operating within the democratic rights we all claim to have so UYO ALINDI VUTO ANGO KAYAMBA CHAKE CHIPANI AND DO AS HE LIKES


and if they know tembo is bad why did they choose him as their leader obviously thhey so his leadership qualities and principals so they must have known that he will do this coz babawa sanasinthe chipani kapena his ideas lets all remember that he was against multiparty politics and his belief is of one party state so lets not be surprised by all this and pretend that he is a democrat IZI TONSE TIMADZIWA SO IF U JOIN HIS PARTY THIS SHOULD NOT BE SUPRISING AT ALL.

Indeed old habits die hard. I have to agree with you there but honestly, i am not surprised with Tembo's behavior. Tembo is a man who was, probably ,Kamuzu's top hench man as such was used to being worshipped and getting his way all the time. Tembo is one disillusioned politician who is still living in the past because he probably does'nt accept that things in Malawi have changed and that life has to go on.

It requires more than organisation. Majority rules. He's not popular in the centre and I don't think southerners are that keen either. He won't get a single vote up north.

Yes no vote in the north but all votes in the central where his party is very strong and popular.Little votes in the south if any but we have too much competitors in the south there by sharing the votes.So there he is as a winner!!

hold on before u go further look at the last elections. this gentalman does not need to do much to win elections. The people we think are normal or good politiians are so divided and power hungry that eachh and every day they are pushing Tembo towards the ccountrys leadership.


he is the only one who benefits from all the differences amoungst malawian politicians and voters are tired of these other guys that is why he got all those votes in the last election. it nolonger about regions

If Tembo wins that election I personally would instigate a rebellion or even a civil war. Not in my country it ain't.
