AL QAEDA (WHAT'S THE STORY)

So where do we African's fit in this ideology. I remember seeing lots of T-shirts in Malawi with Bin-laden's face and arguing with an American peace-corp about it when she said it was a disgrace.

My stance is that although as an Ideology I disagree with it, I believe he's no more than say a Che Guevera of the 21st century. Only they're methods differ. But the violent challenge to western hegemony is an inevitable process.

Hope I make sense.

Yes abre you make sense, its like putting a t shirt with chuck noris.Bin ladden as you said is just a moslem fanatic. He has a hate for the west just because the west thinks they know all which is right. The war is that America should rule, the Arabs are also saying no,but without facts. The east wants to use oils as a weapon. The west wants to use war and latest bombs just to say they are in control.

All in all,bin laden is just a threatening tool used by the east.He took no part in 9/11,what he did was just to comment quickly before the owners of the act. There is a different group doing all this because they hate America. Now Bush has taken advantage of this to advance his trade balance,  I mean his personal business interest. The war is real and its there, but noone will notice it before it is activated, that is their secret.

In Malawi we should not be pulled by the collar,or told by these west who solely deepend on Africa.

I could not agree with you more.

The fact that Bin-Laden is a product of the CIA always goes unreported in the mainstream media. In a lot of ways he still is. They always bring him up to justify everything. The western propaanda machine works day and night to make it seem like he is an evil don sending suicide bombers to kill westerners all over the world.

Someone once said that Osama is the first person in history to be created by the CIA and wanted by the FBI.

Of course audiences here don't even question the implausibility of it all.

Indeed, a spade is a spade. Of course, feelings may differ depending on who you are. And it is important to ask where we as Malawians stand in all of this. It all comes down to this; how do we determine between a freedom fighter and a terrorist? Take for example Mandela. During his movement, he was deemed and viewed as a terrorist. I recall my pols instructor(african american) complaining about the time government refused to send him clothes during his imprisonment. Now you find people like Clinton writing about what a great man he is.
