What can a million kwacha do to bring you results? I mean if you fix deposit it, the best it can give you is 5 thousand a month only so i need to know what venture i can put it in for good use.

  One of the banks back ho offers an account that will maintain the funds in foreign currency. This will depend on where you are. Good luck and be careful. The greater the risk the greater the reward.

Treasury bonds are a good idea. Malawian interest rates can be a pain; but not when you're the lender!


Good suggestion Sepusepu (about the foreign currency denominated A/c). The tobbacco selling season is closing (closed?) now, that means there is only one way the kwacha can go between now & next season - unless some economic miracle happens along the way. Good luck YTP!

Thanks guys. This is gonna be harder than i thought. All your inputs are being considered. I have seen some houses but a million at the moment is like abit hlf-way in between.

I think buying a house is what i shall go for. Business pano ndi Mw economy cannot guarantee somefing good. No head for business anyway.
