EXISTENCE OF GOD
Permalink Closed

For any christian it is really very unnessecary (and impossible) to proof the existence of God by some rationalist argument, because God's existence ain't knowledge, but belief. And belief is, as Paul defined it, knowing for sure that what you can't see. Or, to put it another way: Credo quia absurdum (I believe it because it is absurd). You might also think of Kierkegaard, who said that faith is something like jumping into the depths if God asks you to, trusting his decision more than your own reason.

I believe in God,  And I definitely  KNOW if  he exists

Well, i believe God exists by the things that He created. I believe strongly that even though i cannot see Him, i feel His presence.

So can YTP explain this "fell his presence" you talk about. I mean it could be due to climate, temperature or emotional duress.

A religion that is based on fear of punishment cannot be right can it. The awful contradiction of narrative; loving God - but you'll be burnt if you disagree. And you don't see anything wrong with that? Anything contradictory about that?

On the other hand I was reading a historical account of Jewish historians and there's an argument of whether Jesus actually existed as a person or it was just a myth that in time became "fact". I thought it was awfully interesting but I know the didactic minds on this forum would wish it burned.

There are things that happen to people that are beyond any possible, reasonable, justification. The idea that a struggle is a "test" is indecent, impolite to the point where God should know better. There is absolutely no excuse for inducing a struggle in a persons life who has no capacity to understand why, as there are many people who are quite literally stupid, though capable of hurting just as the smartest man.
Future man's emptiness comes with his knowledge.
Anyone who knows anything will realise just how futile everything is and just how important it is at the same time.

We are what is known as balanced minds, though it is the truth, onced discovered the 2 halves of the mind will fight each other until they self annihilate and we die.
