no comment really needed - just a though..abre ..have you seen cdm  on MTV ..where stars battle .. well I think u and kesso qualify as Malawiana forum celebs b/c you guys comment a lot - both yor views also have a certain angle to it and u argue ur points well, and battle until ur point is made , hence CDM required !

Wow wow wow, time out sweetie, this is like soooo below the below the belt. Whoever this kesso is I don't think that we are in any position to argue about anything seeing that the account was deleted by the user.


Also, I never watch MTV as it is just another low-brow part of american culture that I chose to ignore.

lol....when i say battle i dont mean blood, i mean fight with intellect ... anyways, I didnt know Kesso was cut...what did he do ? hmm.... I hope this wanst a gay bashing thing b/c i would be upset that we are not tolarent of other view points... but anyway, MTV is not something to model your life on - but everyonce in a while I watch cribs or Celeb death match its funny b/c they make fun of celeb.. but i agree with u the MTV culture is powerful and scres people up ..the young Malawians today are def. generation next or xers or what ever they are calling this generation.....


 


but in anycase mtv is a living part of our culture and no matter how trahsy it may seem or get... some part of u has to live in the present culture so ur able to understand it ... none of this 'rockin roll 'is devils music thing please.

I still feel MTV is really trashy. Forget the endless repeats of Mariah Carey and J-lo or Usher etc. Overwhelmed with product placement of the most rubbish kind. Mcdonalds and Coke, Nike and Levi. Life is too short to watch MTV. Not with all the other edifying channels on TV.


I know its part of your culture, but I chose to resist any influence from it.

i didnt have any comment on this but now i have.  Abre, ukuti chani zaMTV?  are you possibly confusing with TVM?  chifukwa its an endless times better watching 'pimp ma ride' than watching the 'presidential diary'.  music splash cant compare any nyimbo program on MTV.

ukuti chani?  amwene TVM is a flop.  just imagine a station without any 'movies'!  instead yoti they at least try even the old old films, like bud spencer and terence hill, bruce lee.. iwowo akuti movie ndiujenitu manganyas programme paja timaiti chani? tikuferanji, apo ayi tvm news! 


have you noted how the news is carried out? you can tell kuti uyo akuchita kuwerenga kutsogolo kwakeko!  if you think it is that smart, why do you switch on to BBC for all the night?
