Anyone who has been following the going-on in Malawi will have heard about the demonstations that took place over the past week. I noticed an anomally. When was the last time you heard of students anywhere taking unified action against the opposition? (Strictly speaking, the protests were actually against the National Assembly which has no government representatives at the moment). Unusual don't you think? Does it mean anything?
