UPDATES & REMINDERS: UFULU '64 :  A MALAWIAN REUNION
 
FRIDAY
 
Guest List: Please Get on the guest list (we know how you like hook ups at the door but every body gets a hook-up this weekend compliments of Ufulu, get on the list !) There is now one joint guest list for the Black Party and the Green Party. I will be handing over the list to club owners Friday evening for Friday's party.
Get on the Guest list guest list by 5:00 pm Friday. Additional names for the Green Party will only be taken during the weekend events. Click here to sign your name.
 
Also a reminder to those that signed in on the guest list between to June 1st and June 15th please resubmit your name on the new guest list due to technical difficulties we had.
 
Black:
 
This Just in - Free Heineken ALL night in the VIP Lounge ! ~ compliments of Ufulu
(fellas, don't forget to hook up the non-beer drinking ladies as well )
 
For Guests on the guest list, you DO NOT have to wait in the regular line . Go to the VIP line. The party is on the VIP Lounge on the 4th floor. There will be volunteers to direct crowds.
 
SATURDAY:
 
We are having a Debate & Discussion this year NOT a Panel Discussion. And NOT a Luncheon. Refreshments will be provided & Participation is encouraged. We are also having  Q & A with the Malawian Ambassador to D.C., please... chonde, come on time.
 
Red:
 
Main Event: Come early.  (hmm...recurring theme?) So far we have over 300 names on our guest list for Friday and Saturday. Since Saturday is our main event we are expecting about 350 - 400 people to come. Come fashionably (11:00 pm ish), not horribly late for guaranteed admittance. We are likely to reach club capacity.
 
SUNDAY:
 
Picnic: This is a community event. please pitch in where you can. For residents in the host states, whilst some items will be provided compliments of MWA, please bring what you can, the Warm heart of Africa is not a myth   The Schedule of Events at the picnic will be up at the picnic.
 
Green:
 
This is free before 11:30 pm, those on the guest list.
 
ON THE SIDE....
 
Baby sitters: There are still baby sitter available by Malawian women. Click here to request someone to contact you.
 
Age Restrictions: Everyone will be carded, so please bring ID to all parties.
Those under age (18) will not be permitted to drink.
Black Party is Ozios is 21 and over.
Red Party - 21 to drink, 18 to get in.
Green Party - 21 and over
 
Bottomless Pits: Please drink responsibly and drive safely. Get a designated driver or one of the 18 year olds (see above) to drive you home. DC's finest (police) will be out in full force this weekend.
 
Dont spend your Independence weekend with out any independence - locked up !
 
Transportation: metro & driving
Dont forget to print out directions to the various events from map quest.
If your taking the metro, check for metro closing times. Dont spend your independence weekend sleeping at the metro either !
 
** Proceeds for this weekend are going to International charities in Malawi and Malawian charities !
