Is finding truth simply a means of satisfying our human curiosity about what lies in the ontological darkness, or is there some more pragmatic modality to it? Can the value truth only be measured in terms of how it affects us, or how useful it is?
Why do you all search for truth?

well as they say - the truth shall set u free and pple are usually looking to free themselves from chains - 'man is born free, yet everywhere we're in chains" - cant remember who said it volataire - or robesques or Smith ...someone famous said it ...
Truth also justifies our existence- we want to knwo why we are on earth for example- our true purpose - who our true parents are ... so we can be free to be ourseleves...i think truth is best explained by saying we are searching for a way to set ourselves free...
maybe truth is something that we know without relising that we know it. By asking questions we could be helpng each other give birth to the truth. And the very essence of life to discourse about virtue, the just and good.
