To the gusy and girls of Malawi, did u ever have a talk about the birds and the bees with ur Malawian parents... was it a frank discussion ? Do Malawian parents talk about sex to their off spring... we are living in a time of AIDS and sex is a social taboo ... When you raise ur kids, will u talk to them about the Birds and the Bees?

my parents did talk to us about sex when we were younger and i have to say i was disgusted with them for that,but now i realise that it did help me out alot because i still live by those words my father spoke so openly about. I think children should learn about sex education from their parents and not from schools and friends.

My mum bought me a sex education book when I turned 12. She was too late though, sex education classes at school and playground conversation had taken care of that ages ago. At least she tried!
