Yes, you heard me right. Ayatollah is proclaiming his 2009 Presidential Candidacy. This is just a way for me and Mamma to give back to Malawi. Since I have already accumulated more than enough my family and I would ever need for now and the generations to come, I will donate each and every penny of my Presidential Salary to the health and welfare of Malawians. Mama will open a charitable hospital for children. I have spoken to a few good people and things seem promising. See you in 2009. Ayatollah will only serve for 4 years and rest be assured that Ayatollah will not try to Islamize Malawi.
you got my vote and the votes of my people from mlowe village in Rumphi, just put me the second in command,i wont stick a knife in your back, will support you all the way through am sure you will need it.

Welcome back to the forum homeboy and good luck on your ambitious plans for 2009.Just a correction though, Malawi’s Presidential term runs for 5 years, so what do you intend to do with the remaining year, let the Mama rule? And how about a sneak peek of your manifesto and whatever you stand for politically, that might help members of this forum better understand your objectives as of now since you’re just an underground aspirer.

MACHIPISA AND THE CHICKEN BONES!
During the run up to the first general elections in Malawi the opposition Aford were invited to UK by the renown politician in that country Sir David Steel. The Aford delegation included the president Chakufwa Chihana, Machipisa Munthali and many notable figures that mattered in those days.
In Scotland, after the day's discussions a luncheon was organised. The high table by custom needed to be served while the rest had to serve themselves. Machipisa was very hungry and rushed to the plates, quickly served himself and started eating. He used to like chicken. So had chicken in his plate.
Because he was so hungry he ate the chicken to an extent of breaking the bones. This made a lot of noise and Chihana was concerned. But how could he tell his official to stop breaking chicken bones. If he tells him in English every body will understand. So he asked David Steel to allow him say alittle prayer although some people had alreadystarted eating. Steel gave
Chihana a go ahead and hear what the prayer was like:
"Imwe ba Machipisa, bazungu bakuzizwa naumo imwe mukuphwanyila viwanga! Amen." Chihana smiled to himself for his intelligence.
"Dada Chihana monire!" an elderly white man who was at the very same table next to Steel greeted him. "Ise ndise tikajula Livingstonia ira! Kamufumbani Chikulamayembe wa kundimanya makola ho! Enya cha!!" (So he has understood the bones breaking (ejuction) concluded the president within himself.

Mr machipisa is my grandfather, and he has never been to the u.k. So this is not true.
WHO IS AYATOLLA AND WHY DOES HE THINK THAT HE IS THE RIGHT CANDIDATE FOR THE JOB? WHAT ATTRIBUTES DOES HE HAVE? IS HE JUST DELUDED OR WHAT? SOMEONE TELL ME.
WELL I ASKED IN GOOD FAITH. IF SOMEONE SAYS HE'S THINKING ABOUT BEING THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF MY COUNTRY, IT'S PERFECTLY WITHIN MY RIGHTS TO QUESTION NOT JUST HIS MOTIVES OR HIS MOTIVATION, BUT HIS CONVICTION. BEFORE I EVEN GO INTO HIS POLICIES ETC. FIRSTLY, KNOWING HIS NAME MIGHT BE NICE. WHERE HE'S FROM. IS HE JUST A DREAMER (NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT) OR JUST PLAIN CRAZY (NOTHING ALSO WRONG WITH THAT)?
lets bury the hatchet man, this thing is getting crazy,i never used to get on with Ayatollah but i missed dude, especially his writings.he is good, just like you.
dont you think we are acting stupid strangling each other all the time.
dont you think we can make a change if we agree on something instead of pointing nukes at each other.
think about it.

I ll have to agree with that - the 4 yrs thing sound like a mistake Bush would make - but, he is President of the US so there is hope for Ayatollah- but that is a big mistake- What if he outlined a 4 yr plan for Malawi & during his reign he finds out he has one more yr. what will he do in the 5th year ? Rest? I will support a candidate that will do good for Malawi - more power to you Ayatollah - If u hit the Malawians abroad u can really get a lot of support and contribution to ur camapign - but outline ur plan - show us what u are all about- u already have our attention- if u are going in to politics though seriously - come out of the closet so that people know who u are and what u stand for, cuz then, and only then will pple be able to stand by you.

Abiti Nyino, I have noticed that you always go out of your way to try and respond to each and every posting written by the Grand Ayatollah. If my recollection is serving me right, I remember telling you that I would not grant you the satisfaction. Hence the reason up to now, I have not responded to your Zikwapa zobera.
While Ayatollah is undisputably smart, please note that he has never claimed to be an expert on Malawian Politics. I am not ashamed to say it but and I doubt the fact that a mistake on the Malawian Presidential terms is enough a disqualification for Ayatollah to stand in 2009. Besides, Ayatollah is there to fight for the poor Malawians. Ayatollah is not worried about people like you who are struggling in the West making minimum wage at a Nursing home and can not even go home to vote. Ayatollah is concerned about the people who are suffering each and every day in Malawi because their politicians do not care about them. Ayatollah knows what it means to give back and that is why I am going to donate my Services. The South African Mama to be will open a charitable hospital for kids. Abiti! stay tuned for more. Ayatollah is already working with good people inside and outside Malawi. Stay tuned for Ayatollahs true Manifesto!
I think there were more significant issues raised in a number of postings above that you could have addressed and responded to than concentrating on trivial issues like bickering, boasting etc, you just failed one test of qualities of a natural-born leader. I’ll say it again; I’m not that sick as to be seeking some satisfaction from another man and it is my birthright to express myself by responding to any topics, postings, contributions, debates etc that I see fit without regard to who started the thread.
Even though I have never seen the inside of a nursing home before nor got a paycheck from one, I don’t believe that the fact that some of our peers are doing that kind of a job to make ends meet and pay their tuition is enough conviction to degrade them as being less of a Malawian or a human being such that their would be President would have nothing to do with them. If I were to run for our country’s Presidency, I would very much be concerned about those people too, why is Malawi putting a lot of talent, skill, business acumen to a waste in the west and how best to tap on such and utilize it back home coz I know a lot of those guys have accumulated enormous skills that a lot of Malawians back home do not posses and are only let down by immigration issues and lack of real opportunities back home and they are just waiting for that big short in life just like Tony Montana said;” a great big p***y waiting to get f***ed.”
You do not necessarily have to be an expert on Malawian Politics to know how long a Presidential term is for our country, that’s just one of the basic facts that any citizen of our beloved country knows. If you are not well acquainted with the basics then where is your foundation? You are already letting a lot of people down before you actually venture into the real political arena. Your demeanor is letting you down and you sound too power hungry to me, rest assured you do not have my vote and that of the others who think like me unless you come out convincing enough!
And oh the name is Nyono, yeah Nyono, Abiti Nyono i'll say it enough like Mike Jones! Nyono, sounds close like the other word, man's best pet but it ain't only if you're deep into linguistics you would grasp it!
You sure put him in his place. I could kiss you for it. What a sharp, rhetort. Cool, cerebral, intellectual, sharp and witty! In fact if YOU were candidate, I'll vote for you just for that.
As for Ayatolla, he can't be serious. He doesn't have anything it takes to be a leader let alone a candidate. He couldn't lead a buch of 2 yr olds across a street.

I also concur, this is splendid writing, flawless. I think we good learn a lot from your postings. Most people (even me) on this forum just post pathetic sh*t. And lately the forum has been infected by mediocrity and dull postings. Lately I have'nt even been interested in browsing through the posts. I think we all need to wake up and atleast try to post some intelligent issues. I think we need more people like you.
So do tell, is Ayats "K. Mwale". That is some interesting stuff.
