I'm asking all Malawian if i have a mistake to use this forum sharing your thaught and discussion. First I am  apologizing that I'm not a really Malawian but I'm from great lakes lived in malawi for 7 years 1996-2003. My first born is born there and speaks Chichewa and English we live together with his mum here in UK.



What I want to tell you is that in my home we use most Chichewa and English we dont like our mother tongue as our son doesn't know how to spesk it. Also I like your curture too much the way you live together ku  muzdi ulemu wanu kwa mamfumu trying to solve most problems together. I lived in different countries since 1994 Tanzania, Zambia and DRC but since I came to malawi i told my wife that there is no other peaceful country I have seen before like malawi unless European countries.



Again I'm so sorry guys allow me to share your thaughts with me and I'll be happy without forgeting to welcome new friends whre I'm living in South West (England) I used that word  "ku kaya" as my first friends were Tumbuka like W. W Kaunda, B Chatora Kaundi who's in South Africa and his brother Benamini Kaunda.



I wish if God allow me this 2005 Christimas to be on holiday ku Lilongwe ku mudzi kwa Malili kunangotsala kumeta basi! In order to know this site and forum I thank my sister who's living in America who told me about it and one more thing she advised me that she'll get marriage soon with a certain guy from Sebande family living together  to America. I encouraged my sister that a Malawi ndi anthu a bwino asawusiye mwayi wake.



I f someone reads  this article and knows this couple please say hi to them I'll appreciate your help.

whats up ku kaya Welcome to the forum and feel at home.  Malawians are the warmest and welcoming people you will ever meet.  The girl your talking about is ma Best friend and she is going to merry a Sibande I cant wait.  I know that couple very well and they are a very great couple.  So am happy to know that u've been to Malawi cuz ma friend wants to go to Malawi too, so u should tell her all about it.  Anyway welcome and we are looking forward to your contributions to the forum

Hello and Welcome.-  Im going to make you feel right at home and discuss with you one particular comment in your post that stood out (see above). I need to say - that there are African countries that are peaceful, the problem is that they are so peaceful that nobody heres of them. you speak about peaceful european countries ? let take a trip towards the the right side of Europe, and aea we call east europe- Boznia- Herz, Czech Republik , etc.. etc... I see no peace there. There just like their african in-laws that are fighting. Peace is not about natiolnality its about history. but thank you , thanks to Banda, there are tno ethic vices - I would be VERY SURPRISED if a Rwanda situation come to Malawi - u go to Kenyan parties and u here that it is a luo party or a masaai party etc.. have u ever been to a northern party, or even worse a timbuka  party, a Lomwe party- in Malawi, though there are difference they arent that great that they divide us like that - so we are able to accept others like you , but where are you from (besides Malawi) - Some people stay 7 yearsin th e US and become American - there is no reason you cant saty in the Malawi for 7 yrs and become Malawins regardless of your race, ethnicity or religion
