Immigration has always been used by politicians evert election year. It has always been the case in Britain. poiticians know about its benefits but stil (particularly on the right) use it to pander to the xenophobic tendencies of the white elite.

What's funny is you hear words like "they're stealing our jobs" etc. As if there is a definite number of jobs allocated annually or otherwise. Forget the fact that the NHS would not exist without immigration and not to mention the catering industry; Chinese and Indian resturants. The list is endless.

Unfortunately, the average white Brit doesn't know this. Why? Read the Sun or the Daily Mail. The amount of racist bull**** is shocking.

The Tories know that immigrants make up less than 1% of the electorate so I guess it's ok to scapegoat them. Racism is bitch isn't it?

its quite fascinating how the immigration and asylum seekers issue is currently been advocated,with voting ahead of time-many immigrats remain silent and sick. we dont know whats coming ahead of us more especially blacks.

Generally, Micheal Howard,Tony Blair and whosoever comments on immigration in britain is right considering the situation of the case,they are just to many immigrants here. and since everybody is talking of a stuff policies to controlled immigration.i feel sorry for prospect immigrants and asylum seekers.

For Gods sake,my dear brothers and sisters how would you feel if malawi was hit with nigerians,people from "bulundi" and others-eventually take up all the jobs and businesses. thats pathetic! the same with britons now although they need a small portion of immigrants-its just their right to deligently safequard it from atu wobwera.

Dont be afraid as if you will be here forever, finish your studies and go back home despite experiencing some persecution but atleast you should be happy that you have the warm heart of africa.

Indeed thise case could be waves of signals to my dear friends in britain and elsewhere, this is no longer a place to live in. we better prepare our future in advance or it could eventually end up to be another tsunami...

Never never think renewal of visas will be that simple as it were. That trend of hiring lawayers to fight immigration cases appear fading away now due to stuff suggested immigration procedures and laws.

Time has elapsed for those malawian students with reputable degrees who keep studying several stupid certificates for the purpose of visa renewal-what for? its time ma guy we become vigilant to go back home and develop our country. its not that we are handicapped but because we hate malawi.

NHS has abused nurses and medical professionals quite alot. i wonder if this professionals have ever realised this, inu ndalama killed jesus! kumunzi akumufunani a MoH, komaso malipiloso anakweza. its about time we served our dear malawians back home. britain should be very right..

inuso ma yoo... yaku states,its about time you went back home. thats not your country remember!. i wonder why you become so proud of been in NYorkers.whats that? anyway if you have obtained that qualification or working very hard to buy one. my advice is go back home. they're a couple of university of malawi/mzuzu graduates who are waiting to compete with you for those hot jobs. if you know you are incompetent towards contributing to society you may as well stay back where you are because you might not be needed.

Manolo has a point. But lets be fair the fear of the other is always irrational. Used by politicians to divert from other issues. Hitler and the Jews for example.

In Malawi we have asians. Whatever we might think of them they have helped the economy to an extent.

Since Britain has had a very long history of colonialism and made most of its wealth from it its not strange that the colonised, i.e. us would want to come and share some of that wealth.

The politicians never talk about that...

If i have ever bin pissid off with issues, then one of them is immigration. M Howard is busy with immigration let alone he is a decendant of immigration. It is total racism? The ones known as immigrants are Africans & Asians coz of skin colour. M .H. himself is a decendant of immigration. He doesn't hav the brains. A coward and an opportunistik. Doesn't hav the brains. Is he q ualified 4 the job? Watch out!.What made the whites come to Africa? What did they want? Chuma? U will see to it that, most of the things-chuma missing in Africa are found here in Europe. Who is to blame? U or me or our fore fathers? Total controls ofcoz welcome.

am pissed off with peolple like manolo who can see sense in what the british politicians are doin.how can you feel if your profile is being conpromised by these politicians,THE NHS is the big issue not immigration because it all come back to one point,they cant handle their immigration system they blame it on innocent immigrants like you and me.

am not tryin to hate but look at the bigger picture,all issues from immigration to higher inflation it all come down to foreigners.

Do you know that illiteracy in Britain is almost 30%..i think its even 40..and yet they ask as if they know their ****...

am sorry..but me too am so pissed off with this immigration issues..but guys..did you watch Newsnight program last night? that woman really had the facts..it was interesting init?

anyway...lets go back and develop our country..its not worth it just getting pissed off and doing nothing...

Actually the literacy rate is not 30% but I get your point. You find that most of the white folks you meet are less well-educated than you are or knowledgable about stuff. And these are the same folks that will get sent to Africa as expatriates to tell us how to run our affairs.

Furthermore, they'll be called "bwana" and treated superior when we here are treated as second class citizens and racist politicians using us to gain votes. It's a bitch.

I know for sure that there is a new generation of people like us who, when we eventually go back to Africa we'll change not just Africa, but the world. Africa isn't going to be poor forever you know. Power bases change all the time and if America is all-powerful now, it won't be forever...

What we need is unity. In it there is strength. Europe succeeded in Africa by dividing and conquering. The moment we get rid of our petty prejudices towards each other in Africa and unite to take our place in the world, we'll see changes. The truth is at the moment they need us more than we need them, whatever they might say...

how does one make up life when daily we get pissed off by immigration issues.there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. otherwise it will increase our uncomfortability and blood pressure. the only way to to calm down anxiety with this matter is to work out modalities like proper preparation academically and financially, this is no joke guys. account for every pence and do great savings ready to take off and start a new second life back home. you might need that money or investment to fascilitate competence back home. fascinating enough,some guys back home are able to buy brand new vehicles for themselves and yet we opt second hand. this is too bad. lets be couragious enough and hard working. i know some of you are very good that bingu would have no choice but to put you on board.
