I have noted with great concern, a number of guys and gals from the beloved country who are either casanovas or bitchez. I thought we are all the same. Do you look for inner beauty or physical beauty? Are you looking for History? Kapena kutchuka? Makamaka kunjaku ndiye zanyanya. Kumangosinthana ngati mpando wa m'basi akumudzi nokha nokha. Kodi zaka muHIV munayiwala chifukwa ndi kunja? Mzungu musayiwalenso kuti ndi munthu. Zikuwonekanso kuti ambiri simukuvala chifukwa cha ana mukuberekawa. Mabebi ena aku City yina anabwera ku City yathu kudzapanga ndalama ku Stripping Club (Kuja amakuvulirani akamavina) kwawo akuti ali ku sukulu. Tiwuzeni mavuto anu tikuthandizeni nonsenu amene muli pa nkhani tanenazi. Ichi chakoma ichi chakoma pusi anagwa cha gada! Nzeru za yekha anaviyika nsima m'madzi. Nzeru umati nzako nzokuwuza. Komano apawo ndi mizu ya kachele amakumana pansi. Ticheza!
People, I think as Malawians, we need to change our mind set and progress with times. Being a stripper does not necessarily translate that a woman is a prostitute. In most developed countries, stripping is a very well regulated career. During my time of study at UCLA, I remember a few ladies who were stripping just to cover tuition and they graduated. Suffice to say, they went on and have succesful careers at some of the most notable organizations. Stripping and prostitution are not one of the same Period.
In the developed world, the scenario above is not surprising. A lot of respectable women are not even ashamed to say they stripped while in college just to meet their up keep and tuition. A good example would be Vanessa Williams who went on to graduate before even winning the Ms USA. People, understand that not every one is into the nursing home gig. Others would rather do acrobatic antics on funky poles while half naked just so they can get money from the stupid men. Yes, it is pure business and legal.
Hey, I know what you weak minds are thinking. Ayatollah does not frequent strip clubs any more. How ever note that Ayatollah does not see any problem with a young beautiful woman celebrating her provocative beautiful figure and making money in the process. Ofcourse, save prostitution to the brothels and the prostitutes. Besides, most men I have spoken to have been to a strip club, and those that are civilized like me understand the difference between a strip club and a whore house.
I, for one, do stripping for a living, I am not a prostitute. Believe me it pays very well. I encourage you to try it, there is nothing wrong. Men and women do it.
Stripping is not a problem but as you say they are in it for the money. I think that there is a thin line between a stripper and a prostitute and few people can maintain this line. If it’s all about the money then if offered more money to have sex there is a greater chance that they will accept for that marginal dollar and that’s where prostitution kicks in.
If you keep it professional and use it as a gateway to your goals in life then do your thing.

Mailosi,Ayatollah and Sepusepu,
I do entirely agree with you guys,we cannot all work in supermarkets,Mcdonalds or nursing homes, pole dancing is legal in many countries and whoever does it should not feel ashamed.Stripping and prostitution are not the same(and will never be) and I have to admit that in the times I have visited a lap-dancing club, the rules are strictly adhered to,its simply no touching or soliciting for sex no matter how wonderful the woman has gyrated over the pole and your thinking has been hijacked by the one "down under".The problem (as Ayatollah has pointed out)is that most Malawians dont know/understand this concept,to them its prostitution, but no its not that.
Mailosi, dont worry, continue doing your thing(would you be kind enough to let us know where you ply your trade as you know its all about "best buy malawian"weirdface:

i for one have been hitting the gym of late, to try to catch in on this lucrative trade, i know this other dude is making, something like 1000-2000 a week working in strip joints and doing private parties in the london area.
i personnally see nothing wrong in it. by the way welcome back ayattollah, its been a long time, hope that life is treating you good.
am scared to tell you that i dont know who to believe because a stripper once ripped ma ass of £200 i was paid cash in hand ya heard.apart from makin alot of dow jones mon these groupie ass strippers play a dangerous game mon.it tells you of how the strong survive.so if our sistaz are doin this trade mon jus to pay fees and feed they people back home thats cool right there, but there nasty mischivous tricks are what i dont get down with mon.
abiti nyono if you live with a woman 24-7 then i dont blame you if you find this sick, but for those who are single like me the joint is scarce mon it makes me desperate.
