Fellow Malawians, out of sheer interest, I browsed on the web page containing the list of international dignitaries attending the Pope's funeral tomorrow.  Conspicuously absent is my country, Malawi' representative on the list.  Considering catholics form atleast 40% or more of the population, wouldnt it have been wiser for the Government to send in an official.

May be we were not expected to attend. I don’t think there is a special invitation to go to the funeral it’s more of fulfilling an obligation whether it’s personal or work related.
