They Are Back Together Topic Disappears
Permalink Closed

With deep regret, noticed that the "They are back Together Topic" has disappeared all of a sudden. Seems like some influential Politician keeps pushing buttons on his remote control to influence things around here. Should we start keeping back ups for all the postings as some of these may be used as reference at some future dates? Could JRC be kind enough to clarify the criteria he uses to remove certain postings even before they are exhausted. I would like to request that all postings that have been negative towards Ayatollah be removed forth with.

That is a shame. I mean if topics start disappearing then there's no point anything being discussed on this forum is there? I don't know the whole story of "They are back together again" topic but can i just ask if any of the parties involved are/were sons and/or daughters of some influencial politician back home? No need to mention names, a yes or no will do. Or else what we can do is start the whole topic all over again and then see what JRC will do.

Anyway that's what i think. What do y'all think?

Freedom of expression, the birth right for all. Or is it?

When such type of an issue arises, I get verbally attacked from both ends and I am in the middle. I get accused left and right and this sometimes can be a very frustrating experience because no matter who I try to please it is JRC who loses at the end of the day.

So perhaps you fellows out there can help me out with constructive ideas or guidelines on how we make this website amicable for everyone.

But why should these people attack you for something that is not your fault. If something is written here about someone and that someone doesn't like it then why don't they try and put us straight. They are welcome to come on this site and defend themselves or their honour. I mean maybe if people knew the truth about some of the postings here then they wouldn't make such a big deal out of it.

So all you guys who have had things about you written on this forum and have gone and let rip with JRC, all i can say to you is shame on you. If you had kept your houses in order no one would be writting about you in the 1st place.

And to JRC i say let the people have their say. That's what makes this forum so interesting ib the 1st place. If you start sensoring what we write then you might as well just close the site down. I mean as long as noone is physically threatening you then just ignore those people. Just tell them that you are not the one to blame.

Come on guys we can't let a few individuals dictate to us. As i said b4, freedom of expression, the birth right for all!

JRC. Thanks for the new look to the site.Brilliant man; massively brilliant...

JRC, for as long as no names are mentioned I think "hard vibe" postings like Ayatollah's are fine.In my case, for example, I don't know the people involved - I guess that's the price I pay for not being in the USA! Juicy as the story may have sounded...

If it comes to a vote : I vote that Ayatollah's posting MUST be put back FORTHWITH.

JRC- Thanks for explaining your point of view and congratulations for scoring #1 according to one of your web site fan. You very much deserve it. Now let me cut to the chase and I hope will all have patience with me because I have a lot to say.

I know JRC probably have no idea of which people are being talked about in some of these stories cause he can care less. But if you call and complain and threaten a story be taken off the site, you are admitting you are the one being talked about it and you have that guilt. Keep in mind, what goes around, comes around and I might not be person that you did wrong to, but I am gonna talk about you! Whether it is via all sources of communication. It’s the same if they called Ameritech and threatens them that they don’t let certain individuals not talk to each other because they are being talked about. What sense does that make? In this case Malawiana is Ameritech.

For privacy reasons, of course name should not be mentioned and if they are, then yes, do not post it or can be taken off the website because I understand it might take days for a webmaster to catch that. JRC please do not remove any stories that do not, I repeat, do not have names stated. Initials can mean anything so those count too. If it is a title or a name given to you by the public i.e. Bulldog those can and should be accepted. Babymama or babydaddy or desperate house wife (both are - chifa kwa dolo???) should definitely be used, do you know how many there are out there?

Would it help and/or defend JRC that if one calls for a discussion removal, he (JRC) posts to that topic and says it has been requested for removal and give the people that participated in that discussion to defend their story posting and state the reason why they think it should still continue maybe some other people can also have a take at it? That way, it doesn’t always look like JRC removes topics of the people that only call him who, other people noticing, might think he is doing this for the sake of a friendship. That way, a webfan can also be shown appreciation and don’t think there is favoritism.

If you are a public figure, your scandals are meant to be brought into the public’s eyes. Remember McGreevey who admitted to having a gay affair in New Jersey? If you didn’t recognize the name, good!!! Exactly my point. What if I say, the Governor from New Jersey who admitted to participating in the gay affair? Ring a bell?? Yes……that’s what I mean. If you are a private citizen, you remain private. If you are a public figure, your business is our business. Bite the bullet or explain yourself. It’s a wrap & Cut!

Looking at the points raised by various people above, it is  evident that most people are for the idea that posts on this forum, regardless of their nature of content, should be left intact and not tampered with or removed by the webmaster/JRC. All this has been said mostly on the basis of freedom of expression. Talking of freedom of expression, my opinion is that this is a vast, varied and very subjective topic. How I define freedom of expression may not necessarily be a universal definition. For instance, there are those who believe in nudism or exhibitionism and they strongly believe that it is their birth right and it's an expression of free speech at the same time there is an opposing group that believes that nudism is not right, immoral and consequently violates their rights. Well, there so many examples in this contest. What I think is that there are limits and rules(sometimes not written) that guide our daily lives and mostly these guidelines are there for the betterment of ourselves and those that get affected by our decisions. I am sure using bad language or cussing in the church is not an expression of freedom of speech yet their are some who would argue that it is, yet still they would never use bad words in church. So we should not use freedom of expression as an excuse to put our big noses in other peoples business. It scares me to think what this forum would turn into if we were left to attack each other without someone moderating our activities. There would be total anarchy which could lead to bad things i.e breakage of marriages, friendships etc etc. This simple forum could turn into a big monster that could ruin other peoples lives.

Just kidding guys lets do, its fun, as long as no real names are mentioned. This will keep us all guessing. My hint to the aspiring politician: if you chose to be a public figure by nominating yourself to be political party president then your private life and those you associate with  will be subject to scrutiny and you better get used to it because that will be the norm of the day. Otherwise, resign so that others with less scandals can take over. Mr President sir.

I happen to be a good friend of a certain guy that Ms. What’s love got to do with was introduced to through a mutual friend here. She even made it possible to come and visit to pursue a relationship but all in vain. Because folks confirmed about the very many various relationships she had ndi amwenye. Not only that, she was seen many a times driving BJ 5200 for a long time - the famous white mercedes benz belonging to a famous married business man in Malawi who happens to own Tikumbe. Then, she confirmed to friends that she has found the mr. Right (some caucasian guy who she even went and visited his whole family in Indy) , things seemed pretty serious and when my best friend heard this he was glad it didn’t work out with him because it showed how a desperate house wife she was. And now I hear the bulldog has scooped her, again, who can blame the lady for trying all her luck even if it meant trying to break marriages, exploring other races (kodi mwinanso amapikisana ndi that texas guy in Malawi) hey! Who knows! Even ignoring an infants’ sperm donor. Now ask me again why I want this posted.  (if you do people wrong, you are gonna be talked about)

Correction: In reference to the previous topic. Not Tikumbe, I meant Tayamba. Thank you Samora! I apologize for any convenience this might have caused you. If any.
