Trendy cannot hold himself but to congratulate Malawiana for the great new look in this great new year of '05. I am tempted to become a regular this site.
However, Trendy would like to point out that in view of the new look, the site need rid itself of midiocrity too. For example, the Malawiana forum has become a political campaigning tool for disgraced NIB Agents, who are nothing but Muluzi parisites. I have also noticed that Malawiana is advertising two sub-standard websites, Malavi.com, Amalawi.com and Malawilistings.com. While I think Malavi.com and Malawilistings.com stand a better chance of survival in the long run, Amalawi.com is what I would call a cluster **** and somehow the website displays intellectual dwarfness of the creator. Midiocrity at its best!
Congratualations Malawiana and happy new year to the fans and 'dem haters!
I notice that is a proliferation of Malawiana cronies. Dont just be copy cats but come up with original ideas and content and you will stand out. May the best win.
Trendy, It's good to see you posting in '05. While I do not agree with all you have said, I think you have brought forth a few valid points. I know most have spoken highly about the new look. Personally I do not care much about the look, however I would like to applaud JRC for the effort. A lot can be done to improve the image. I also checked out the other sites. Yes they are more on the mediocre side. While visiting Malavi.com, I failed to grasp what the host is trying to achieve. This site could be improved and do much better. However at this time it is lacking a sense of direction due to either poor planning and no vision. Malawilistings.com, even though they had a great and clear objective seem not to have any build up since conception. They need to get Business if they are to survive. Agreeably, amalawi.com scored poorest on the list. Not sure how long they have been in Business but seems like a complete replica of Malawilistings.com. However the problem I had with this site is that they have the poorest presentation and they have too much clutter all over with too many pop ups. However it's a good thing we have all these sites popping up and competition is only but healthy. This is my two cents worth of commentary. Don't hate me, hate the truth

First of all it is thumbs JRC for the new look this is what we want people have to be agressive when they are in business. Another thing is also to advise Lazalo for the well designed t-shirts which have been advertised on the Malawiana they are nice and a very good business opportunity for him if they can be sent to his homeland.
Ayotollah the comments you have made about the two webpages i.e. malavi and malawilistings cannot go without making comments. If you have read carefully about malawilistings they have actually indicated that they will officially launch their site on January 31st,2005 and we are not yet there so let us wait it is only after that date that we can be able to make our fair comments about that site. Another thing which I think will make them to be known quickly is their effort to recruit campaigners for their site here in Malawi to me that is a point scored against Malawiana. If JRC can recall one of my contributions regarding Malawiana I said Malawiana is becoming very popular here in Malawi but there is lack of awareness. I am yet to visit malavi and see what they are offering but as you said if we will have many of them it is good for all the sites and us their customers will get better service at the end of the day.
