First I want to congratulate the guy for the appointment, reading through his cv I have no doubt to match himwith the job.I only have some observations with his past experience, the man had a long time in Kamuzu period where most dictations took place,is he a reformed chap? Will he democratically advise Bingu or we may have another Ralph. Its up for our discussion.

I hope he keeps his word by staying independent and pleasing neither of them. On the face of it though, he does seen more than qualified for the job, both in terms of education and experience (see article in Nation Online). For those not in the know, Munlo is MW's new Chief Justice.

I used the word " I hear" because I read this from Nyasa Times.
All these are Lomwes anyway so the "homeboy" can still be traced.

Yep the guys is too good. Remember he was part of the defence team that defended Kamuzu/JZU/Mama together with the Kaliwo brothers and Stabrook. Then he has all the international and local exposure in the field. Aint he just coming in from Lwanda/Siera Leone? Wasnt he the chap who was recently busy at the Hague crusfying our very africanised brother, Charles Taylor?

Thats where I have my reservation, and my humble fear is coupling such pipo with Bingu and at his age anyone will take advantage of him.And to ask a question,is the same Kaliwo mentioned  above,I mean the guy who recorded the Presidents' command speech.Lets wait and see.

Its now an open secret as to why Bingu opted for Munlo, someone who is seen to be an outside rank from the usual grey haired guys at the current bench of malawi justice system. Bingu feels so much let down by the section 65 recent rulling to such an extyent that his trust has completely weathered.

His briefing of MPs who supports government side says it all. He has completely bashed Justice Unyolo. He believes he is bought by the UDF Chair to make such a rulling. Now aint this telling us something as regards to who he was refering to about ''the Big Mafia like in town'' who has infiltrated the justice system in recent times?
