Makosana,I was listening to matafale's music and I realise how malawi lost a great talent. It get on my nerves when I remember how his case was sitted on by some men with big bums. Makosana, ndabwela nalo ine ndifunso chabe,is it possible for Dr Bingu to call for another enqiry on Matafale's death or is it that when an equiry is called once by presindent it can never be recalled again.amalawi paja khoswe sapheka akakhala pa chani kodi? As for now matafale's death still remains a mystery.

iwe thomas things like those always happens to anarchists like matafale. mostly they die immaturely and sadistic death. nthawi ya ngwazi anthu ngati matafale ankapanga ngozi. but then was there any conspiracy in the rasta`s death? i always wonder about that. first he starts loosing weight then coughing non stop get hospitalised for tb gets discharged then he get rid of his signature rocks he stops taking tb medication due his religious beliefs.instead he chooses getting stoned, he gets so depressed, he hallucinates and he sees himself as an angel and he wants to kill his step brother and the president.
the guy was a chamba ****ing smoker,a bully who always wanted to his own way through bullying. dont get me wrong i liked the guy and his music but he was a nuisance and he died of tb relapse trust me.cause he didnt finish first treatment.
trust me guys siinali ngozi anyone who was close to evson and honest enough not them loud mouth will agree mkulu amene uja sanajudulidwe kungo amalawi kukhuwa.
True, to add he was not discharged from hospital but he run away, he even jumped out of the Police Vehicle while in motion, at LL police he used stay with CID officer on duty and was not put in cell because of his condition. They guy was sick and was not taking any medication and believed in Smoking Chamba and drinking water. They guy was even failing to speak continuosly because of phuma (befu). its unfortunate that he died in prison. Check out some one told me that his lungs are at college of medicine and are used for studying consequences of smoking True or false?
inde the guy was sick koma ma police anatengapombali pa imfa yake why keeping a sick person at the police station? and anamumeyaso kwambiri a police aku kawale
I only seriously and critically listened to Matafale's muzic when they had hammered him dead. I was realy impressed. The guy had the talent. The guy had the voice. The guy knew how to compose. He was just too good for malawi muzic.
Yes, its a fact that the guy was sick and was deteorating fast, and its on those basis that the Malawi police and the justice system ought to have been condemned.
I mean why keep a sick person behind bars? Why a TB patient be made to travel to LL when in actual sense he's a BT based guy? What crime was he charged with? I bet sedition is a serious offence whose punishment carries a maximum of life imprisonment!
we not saying the police were right to keep him in cell. what am on about is people mispresenting facts. was he beaten in cell absolutely no. the guy was just at the end of his life.why dont we learn to use commonsense. i mean in malawi there is no natural death, there is always conspiracy theory behind. its either walodzedwa, waphedwa wafambidwa and the list goes on.

Sibweni the guy was beaten by the men in uniform of kawale, and do u know why he was taken to kawale station? its coz the kawale guys are good at brutal acts Yes the guy gat Tb koma the beatings the torture contributed to his death Kulozedwako kufwambidwa kuliponso and athu amalozedwadi
Amwene some of the police men were and are still part of his fans. i dont believe what Atame is saying that Matafale was beaten. May be we should just blame the Police for not handling him properly as he was a patient with a chronic disease by exposing him to poor enviroment eg Maula Prison. But it was the court which remanded him at Maula, had it been the Magistrate considered the health of our reggae king may be he could have been saved from the death trap. komanso he could not be spared by the magistrate for potraying chamba chamba behaviour in court.
We all know that days before his death, matafale wrote that infamous letter which called some people being satanic whatsoever.Obviuosly those accusations did not go down well with other people who may had resolved in sorting Matafale out.Am not so sure if his death was caused by his sickness or by some frustrated police men ordered by thier seniors but what am so sure is,if mattaafale was such so sick he couldnt be on his way to lilongwe to hold a music show. I will leave you with this simple equation please complete it
Not only kuphika, but so many misconducts especially from Ngicho where am from. You come to open a case at a Police station, they will tell you that they have to ask the perpetrators first as to what happened! {Giving you a clue that they know their accomplices} Isnt that humorous? And when you report to the O.C they get Goosebumps. When everything is over you hear the very same O.C. you trusted conversing to the perpetrator that inu a uje katundu wadzana uja ndibwela kuzatenga lero. And you simply find yourself dumfounded.
True i admit thta some of the methods which the police have using in the investigation needs alot to be desired. but can our police work and provide good services to the public when they are the lowest paid in th southern africa. they dont have proper equipment for investigations and collection of evidence. a lot of cases are still unsolved because of the poor capacity of our police in investigations e.g. matumula, bonjesi, stambuli cases etc just because of poor investigations and tactics. But what should we do to our police for it to be in line with new environment of policing in democratic society.
