You tell them it will be quicker that way. Some parts of BT they are experiencing blackouts three to four times a week. Its very very sad, if you ask them, they say magetsiwa akumalemedwa madzulo. What got me upset was their slogan "Power all day everyday" how stupid is this, ngati nyama zikungowola m`mafuliji

The power went off when I was glued to the TV watching my team Arsenal against Chelsea. When Gilberto was about to score that pernalty, the power went out and there was total blackout. These power failure are a niusance and are causing us the poor masses alot of pain. We cant afford a standby Gen set. Imagine, from 17:30hrs to 21:00 hrs and 05:30hrs to 12:00hrs three times a week.

Escom is not helping us guys. Since I came to BT over a month ago I have come to realise that utility companies like Escom and Water Board treat locations differently. While Chilomoni township is grumbling but residents of Namiwawa do not experience these unending load sheddings. May be it is Blackout All Day Everyday educate here. Why should it be PART OF NYAMBADWE while the rest of us are in darkness.

The Escom boss should be fired. He is too comfortable to think of what people are going thru because of the blackouts. I guess kwawo samazimitsa or if they do he can afford a standby generator.

Why can't solar power companies jack up so that we all go solar.

Welcome back bambo, were u in Iraq?

Solar is a good option but its expensive. Was watching a documentary on Cabora Bassa and was dumbfounded to hear that they generate not even a third of its capacity and that if the whole of SADC can gang up and work on this plant they would be adequately supplied with the local supplies for back-up and we see that with our "eyes wide shut", i feel sory for policy makers when it comes to issues like these.
