Madonna is set to make a movie about the plight of orphans in Malawi, which aims to put the spotlight on the country's suffering.
The singer hopes that the film, which has the working title Raising Malawi after the eponymous charity she founded, will raise the public's awareness about the Aids-ridden country.
Footage of Madge's adoption of orphaned baby David Banda will feature in the movie, which started out as a documentary.
It will publicise her Kabbalah beliefs and also show footage of her interviewing her hero Nelson Mandela.
A family friend said that Madonna had poured her heart and soul into the movie and believed it could have a similar effect on the world as the Live Aid concerts did in the 1980s.
The friend said Madonna wanted to dedicate the rest of her life to helping children and wanted to become the female Bono, putting the final nail in the coffin of her Material Girl days.
Most of the scenes will be filmed on Madonna's current trip to the African country.
Everybody who saw the footage of Madonna in Malawi will agree that she didnt seem to be impressed with the chiwoda women dancing around her. Not even a single smile!
LOL no sir..not everything natural is right. Let me explain the mechanics of "Chiwisi" to you. Odor doesnt come from sweat since sweat actually does not smell. The odor comes from the bacteria under the arm pits that eat on particles inside the sweat and then fart. The horrible smell is the fart from the bacteria...natural decomposition you might say.
Now , you know that it is only right to get rid of farting bacteria under the armpits would you not think so ? I am sure Madonna does.
Since it was 'abit hard for the media to get hold of her', you can watch abit of it by going to www.metro.co.uk and click on madonna in malawi.
I really wish all these would benefit the malawi nation as a whole and not just the few individuals who are directly involved. My question is: who will the actors and actresses be? where exactly is she gonna get the real/ true facts about Mw?.......etc
Typical and am not surprised. But then i guess as the saying goes; all publicity is good since Mw might be put on the map for good but in a way, this is exploitation. I wonder if she is gonna go through the proper channels of doing this or some doors will magically be opened for her since she will be taken as a 'saviour' for Mw.
I understand she isn't adopting that little girl now (Grace?)as she has termed this trip as beneficial to David's dad so that he can see his son plus seing to the work of her so called 'project'????

Glad she has so far done what in everybody's eyes is a good deed. My but is what exactly is in this for her? Should she be believed that she wants to alter the material girl image? Or is it just me who can smell a fish from a thousand miles away? Or am just being a typical malawian who is blinded by everything i see and misconceptions? Time will tell.
Atame Wrote: Mum where are we? David nafunsa atangotera pa kamuzu Int airport

"...where are we Mum? There is so much dust here and who is this barefooted man" David asked his Mum. " He is your..er.er..er, I will tell you when we get home.

I take it that my light hearted comment has been taken too seriously. Relax a little. I didnt mean to say that Malawian women smell....even though i do see now how one can say that i did. Still I insist ..I didnt mean to. All in all relax... I was just letting out some humor through a supposed explaination as to why Madge wasnt seen smiling. This is an apology to you and any Malawian woman who took offense from my comment.
