MS Tinga. I take it your work in some capacity for the Malawian High Commission. Any advances on Malawian Associatiosn in the UK?

I met the Hon Malawian High Commissioner recently who mentioned in passing that 6th July celebrations were hardly attended at the High Commission. I responded to say that most of us would be only to pleased to join if we knew about it.

There are no official channels of communicaion to Malawians in this country through the High Commission. Not through any proper website worth its content.  Most other countries have facilities in place to inform their subjects of happenings at their embassy. Where is ours?

It is forums like this that keep us Malawians aspiring to maintain our identity in this place far from home.
