People in Blantyre have devised a strategy of begging like no one's business.This guy i met in town yesterday was my former xool met and he started narrating a story thinking i was not aware that he wanted to trick me into giving him money.He was like, 'hi  You know what i am suffering from TB and i went to QUEENS for my medication and the doctor has given me this prescription but unfortunately there is no medication in the hospital so i have been asked to go and buy in town.The medication cost MK5400.00 i only have got three thousand so i just need a balance will you please assist ? He looked so pathetic thinking that i will buy his story.

Being aware that medication is available at the hospital i told him .Look friend i will be of help  , at the Hospital i know most of the doctors,come with to my office let me talk to one of them and am sure be able to find this medication at QUEENS  when i have phoned the right guy and you will get them for Free  so lets go now to the office and afterwards i can also drive you to the hospital

Then

suddenly the guy changed the story ,you see am supposed to live now for Lilongwe so am afraid i may miss the minibus at wenela .Am like hey you just said you have only MK3000.00 where are you geting money for the transport ? He is like you see that money is with a friend of mine waiting at the stage so am like ,which is very important to you ? Your life or the trip?

So the guy had nothing to say? So  you are lying to me isn't it ? he is like ,u know am jobless now nothing is working for me ,so i thought you may assist me but it seems you are also mean with your money. So i laughed and said friend i wanted to assist you by helping you to get the medication but it seems you don't need them so there is nothing i can do .But honestly speaking the guy is not sick he just wanted money.This was not thefirst time i have met someone asking money using this trick some will even go to the extent of telling you that they are mentally sick and need money to buy medications ,so the issue is all the same.Begging with stories .
