Yes man she is scot free every man in town is crying blue murder i couldnt believe it myself when i got it on the radio. Just imagine the registrar hinted the same no case. Grievous bodily harm. You're right Abre, there must be SOMETHING they could pin on her. What's the age of consent in Malawi anyway? It can't be 14. Is it? I hope the case is taken to a higher court, this can't survive an appeal. I hope.

Thats malawian age.players were always 14 for 5 years so that they can play under 14 Mayors trophy,remember that?.

For rape to occur a mman must have an errection.This boy was intoxicated and raped?where did he get the libido?

Clearly this is a case of a miscarriage of justice. Now although I don't have all the full facts of the case (and neither do you), from the point raised the judge was simply wrong.

There is no balanced argument in a crime that hideaous no matter what you think you are trying to achieve. Besides your point about erections is moronic and hardly stands as a "balanced" point.

About education... Well, you seem to have very little of it...

What you yhink you are Billy Orielly or something.The time I was doing LAW he was doing mass communicado.He wasnt **** . I know the larger part of the world got big gaps between western law and one of their origin in other words traditional laws.You are trying to be the wiseman from the west.Its not gonna work in Nyasaland

This judge will look very wrong in passing such judgement in our nation coz what this bitch did was really bad no excuse. Thats why we had mob justice. Western laws dont reall fit in our cultural world .

On the other hand the boy and his parents behaviour is in question.I thought thats what we were going to do .Looking at the case again and see why this judge did that other than calling me stupd and mo....

Man rapes servant’s daughter

Police in the central district of Kasungu on Saturday arrested Mtisunge Banda, 43, for allegedly raping his watchman’s 14-year-old daughter.
Kasungu Police spokesperson Andrew Gada said Monday the alleged incident happened on Friday when Banda, a business man, accompanied by a friend went to his warehouse that was guarded by the victim’s father to get some maize.
“The watchman was living with his family at the warehouse and when the two got there, they found the girl [only] as her parents were away. The suspect went inside the warehouse and called the girl who was outside,” explained Gada.
“She obliged and went there thinking that her father’s boss wanted to ask her something but when she got inside the suspect grabbed her, tore her clothes and raped her. She said she tried to call for help but the suspect had put his hand over her mouth,” said the police PRO.
Gada said all this happened while Banda’s friend was outside the warehouse.
“The girl reported the matter to her parents when they got back and they took the matter to police. We arrested the suspect the next day and charged him with rape,” said the police spokesperson.
On Monday, the Kasungu Magistrate’s Court granted Banda bail pending trial, according to Gada.
“He paid K10,000 and was asked to produced a surety of K10,000 (not cash). He was also ordered to report to Kasungu Police every fortnight,” explained Gada.
Banda is from T/A Kalolo in Lilongwe.
