I think this is straightforward: Law students/graduates educated in the UK/US and not able to practise in Malawi because of the Legal Education and Legal Practicioners Act(2005) And if its not meant for you, let go. Mbuli!!!!!!!!!!

Game & others,
Removing the usual "fighting" mentality in all of us on this forum,Firstbendman interpretation of my call is the right one as evidenced by my quoting of the Act that makes it impossible for people to practice law in Malawi, that is to stand in court before a judge as a member of either the Prosecution/defence team.I specifically quoted that Act to give an idea as to what type of people we are looking for.
I personally believe that those studying "A" level law cannot be considered as Law students because they study the subject as an academic disciple in addition to two other subjects for them to qualify for the award of "A" level and not as a route to becoming law graduates and therefore work in a law related field. If they were studying law as an end to itself and not as part of a package to qualify for an award that is neither a law qualification nor has a bearing to what they will do next then yes probably we might have viewed them in that context.Thank you.
isnt it why i said "just curious".i dont practice law but my youngster is doing A level law thats why i asked.if that makes me mbuli then so be it.just know that a pot cant call a kettle black.

But if a kettle calls itself white, a pot will question. And obviously, some kettles are 'more black' than usual, making pots start wondering. Ketulo ameneyu amamuphikila pamakala a tsanya.

Propablely you should have let your youngsters ask for himself/herself. I should think he/she didnt bother asking, because the posting was clear. And to youngster, achimwene akowa azakuputila nkhondo.
Wow!wow! ceasefire!nkhani yake yomweyi mpakana kutengetsana chonchi?anthu pabwalo pano mumasungilana zifukwa,it seems u "prowl and hunt" till u get who u want.Y cant those interested just contact the person who started this topic rather than mpakana nkhani ya "kettle ndi mpoto?"

Comn guys in A levela dna O levels you study 3 or more subjects... you are not a law student if you are foing law, biology or history in A-levels... u are not a historian and a biologist or what ever..... in colloquial ( 4give spelling) terms, you are a student of something after secondary education. A -levels is considered secondary education.
This only pertains to colleg/technical school students in any field!
I would like to thank those people who have made contact as per my request with either myself or Chipi and Muyeyeka. How others find the original posting "vague and misleading" is beyond me but one thing for sure is that we all have different levels of intellectual ability and therefore our understanding of simple things will always be different.
My original posting has served its purpose and so has my malawiana account and therefore it will be deleted after this posting. Thanks once again to those who have responded, thanks to you all.
firstbendman wrote: not able to practise in Malawi because of the Legal Education and Legal Practicioners Act(2005) Do you need a black board too???? unless the initial post is vague and misleading
Mr Pope, Sir
The initial posting was a clear-cut. It was you who wanted to fiddle with it to sound vague by deliberately omitting the subsequent statement. But the preceding statement alone is makes sense.....Law students/graduates. Anybody with a functioning mind can tell a naked woman, even if she is shown one half only by using sense of sight, touch even smell (the lower half only). The posting was like a naked woman.
Law students are the pple who are studying Law Degrees in Law schools, while graduates are the ones who are done with their Law school. This learned man is not looking for A level students. Some people say there is nothing like dump question, but I dont think these pple will entertain 'extremely intense stupid question' like the one your friend asked. Especially after claiming (not too long ago) that he is brainfull and heavyweight of this forum. Am starting to wonder if he meant heavyweight as in 'over weight', because it seems part of his brain was 'incorporated' to his 'balls' to correspond to his obese ass.
Next question was gonna be: Is my aunt included? She did law when she was doing Accounting at one of those fake colleges owned by Nigerians. Those colleges which youre graded by how you pay your dues. If you pay in time you get A+ or a C- for paying late.
Pope, I know you were trying to save the inquirer from embrassement, but its too late. The damage is done already. You should have listen, I told you this guy is fake.
And he had the courage to ask another stupid question:
....so A level law student are now not law students in your book mr firstbend?i thought the guy said law students/graduates??????
Yep!!!! What you are calling A level law student is an A level student, who is studying law as 1of 3 subjects. He is not a Law student. Once he is accepted into law school, then he will be law student. For now your youngster (which you wanted the world to know that he is doing A levels - as if we care) is a dreamer. He might go to law school or not. And if he has same brains like you, then forget it. He is going nowhere.
And next time dont compare the kettle at the mosque of Sultan of Brunei, His Majesty Hassanai Bolkiah Mu'izzadin Waddaulah to a pot of some broke ass dude from Ndixville. Who use same pot to cook nyemba, nsima and chimanga chokazinga for desert.
......i dont practice law but my youngster is doing A level law thats why i asked....
Dont worry about practising law. Nobody doubted you. You have never shown anything to beget doubt. Sorry!!! We already know that you gat nothing (what so ever) to do with this profession - not even close.
To the learned man Kumbukeni: Am really sorry for this man for insulting the noble profession. I hope he has learnt a lesson, otherwise see him in court.
