Seems like Malawian women have decided to do something about the crap (arm chopping, etc) they've been getting from the men lately  ....

Wife cuts husband’s member
by: Rabecca Theu, 5/31/2006, 6:42:19 AM

A 24-year-old woman in the south-eastern district of Machinga attempted to cut her husband’s member after being infuriated by his absence from home for two nights.
Machinga Police public relations officer Joseph Sauka said Tuesday Martha Winesi was angered by the husband, Richard Chauluka, who arrived late at home after sleeping out for two nights.
Upon Chauluka’s arrival at his home on the night of June 28, Sauka said, a quarrel ensued in which the wife accused the husband of having extra marital affairs.
The public relations officer said the husband, who is a cleaner at a lodge, told the wife that he was at work.
He said after the two went to sleep, Winesi got a sharp razor blade and started cutting the man’s private parts purportedly to put the husband’s “womanising” habit to an end.
Sauka said the man escaped and reported the matter to police who took him to hospital where he was admitted for a day.
He said the wife was arrested Tuesday in Liwonde where she was hiding at her sister’s place.
Sauka said Winesi would be answering a charge of performing an act intended to cause grievous harm.
The family has two children.
