what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country ...
Are these words true for Malawi today, do you think an agressive educational policy that teaches the next generation, and some of the current to think like this would assist development? Do you think that African govts really want a population of free thinkers and of people that think outside of the box, or is their a real interest in providing not just education but innovation to people ? They say ignorance is bliss... Do you thin the more people know, the more they know that they dont have?
I know these are hard questions, and to some point philosophical, but I dont want the answer to this to be philosophical, I want it to be practical, take the ideas and apply them to real life situation.... thanks for your feedback

I never totally agreed with that comment. I mean, Kennedy said it as he was sending troops to Vietnam to die for their country. That to me is dubious. It might sound profound but there are people out there that need help from the government. I personally would want to see my tax money go into proper social services. Only the government can actually invest in that.
So no. It should read ask not "only: your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.
