Former Sports Minister Moses Dossi’s 10-mile hunger big walk that took place on Saturday in London had a very low turn-up due to the cold weather which prevented most people from participating. Dossi, who is still in London, disclosed this Monday in an interview. He said only six people—three Malawians and three Britons—joined him in the three-hour walk to raise money to avert the current hunger situation in the country which is threatening the lives of over 4.7 million people.

Its true Nyasa has a point. Dont just say we should do something for MW yet the oppotunity was there to show it but it failed. We just do LIP SERVICE.Nyasa your Heading is not worded well though. Its insulting. You could do better than that.
he has a point but calling people names is out of order, and by the way i can challenge dossi's efforts in any way i know, from the lack of publicity to reach people from all over the UK,you cant just get up in the morning and say am going to do a big walk in the heart of england to raise money for the poor in malawi, you need planning, make sure everyone gets the message.mobilise not only people close to you.

I didn't even know there was a big walk. If i had known i might have been there. Maybe they've learn't a lesson and next time they will tell people. There's no point in putting it in the papers in Malawi but failing to tell the people who actually live where the walk is taking place.
Hard luck!

It takes ages to organise something if you want results but i got to know of the walk 2 days before and am afraid i just couldn't cancel everything at a drop of a hat.
Kukakhala bibida and all other fun stuff, weather and all others are taken into consideration so the heading above is an insult to everybody...including yourself. 'koma kukankhal bibida' nde kuti chani? Is that supposed to be 'koma kukakhala bibida'?
hey mr nyasa dont just jump to conclusions insulting people, obviously there was miscommunication or it was disorganised.have you ever thought that people go to work?

True this..on top of all that, people know pretty well how some good intentions are hampered by evil deeds from others. Mr Dossi should not only publicise the big walk but also what logistics are in place for putting the funds to good use.
Anthu amamwera madzitu zinthuzi. Besides a big walk in London doesn't mean all Malawians in the UK will be able to attend. UK may be small but it's not that small.
