I was watching this documentary on CNN http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/africa/12/01/btsc.koinange/index.html (please watch the video clips), what I saw was painful to even imagine that it is happening on this same earth where for others its an earth of plentiful, I lost it and shed a tear or two.

My plea to you all please help at least one family in your home village.$20 a month could save a life or two.

At the same time isn't it a shame that our politicians are abusing their offices by wasting time about matters that are of lesser importance than what is really important like finding ways of helping those who are about to die of hunger.

Tutu, You are exactly right. When Ayatollah raised this topic sometime back, people criticized him saying the situation was not even dire. Others said Ayatollah was just seeking attention and others said CNN was just blowing things out of proportion. I was in Malawi last month and I can not even begin to explain what I saw.

I am glad people are opening up and a lot more have stepped their efforts to help. Good example is our own beloved Claire from England, The DC community did it's thing. There is no doubt we can do more as a people. It could also be great if people were encouraged to share some success stories of their good deeds on this forum. We can all learn from each other on how best we can help through the experience of others. If you are not comfortable using government agencies, find other means. Regardless of how little we give, we can help save lives as long as the money reach those in need. I have learned that there is no such thing as little help when it comes to a good cause. Our strength comes from our numbers. Together, we can save lives.

Don't lie. You haven't been to Malawi since you left... Your butt has been exactly where its been. We can see your login details you know. And at no point did you do it from Malawi. Last month you were still in the US. Oh! Oh! Unless... Unless... Nah... Maybe not.

Lucifer, ignorance is indeed a big disease. Ever heard of VPN network??? I can not log in on my Laptop without using my company network and my employer is indeed based in America. What would be the motive for Ayatollah lying that he was in Malawi last month and talking about what Malawians are going through. Unlike you Lucifer, Ayatollah is no pathological lier. Iwe DYABULOSI, get it in your head, people are dying. Misery is not a source of entertainment for me and my concerns are genuine. Don't you think we have better things to talk about than having these unnecessary and unproductive feuds. People are tired and Ayatollah is tired as well. I think Ayatollah can contribute to this forum in a more positive and constructive way than debating your weak asss. Find someone else.........

You liar. You don't have any VPN. Of course I have better things to do but as always I would hound you as the liar you are. Pretending to be what you're not. One of the differences between you and I is that I never make claims about going to Malawi and I can imagine you travelling all to the way to Malawi with your VPN just to log on to Malawiana to see what people are discussing.

Truth is your login would still say Malawi if you use you VPN there. At least lie with dignity or do your research first!!!

LUSIFA, your ignorance in technology is beyond the imagination of anyone who understands computers. It's actually shameful that someone who claims to be an intellectual fails to understand simple concepts like how a VPN network functions. Even a middle School student in America could break this down for you. While we are on the same issue, what makes you think I logged in from Malawi just to see what people were discussing on Malawiana. Stop being so presumptious. Get this in your dumb head, I can work from anywhere in the world. I have big responsibilities and I have projects to monitor regardless of where I am. Ask anyone, it is expected when you move up the ladders in corporate America.

Ayatollah is not about to hijack the important topic and turn it into a technology lesson for your dumb asss. Let the topic get the attention it deserves. Why is it that every time a substantive topic appears, DYABULOSI tries so hard to hijack and turn it into his SATANIC circus so that well meaningful people get discouraged? Get a life

What a shame, these two embeciles ,Ayatollah and Ebre, choose to hijack a genuine concern discussion  to satisfy their own egos. No different from Malawian politians at all.

Iwe Zee, do you have a processor in your head at all? Go back and read my postings on this topic and see if your comment above is necessary. Besides, you are just repeating what I was telling your friend LUSIFA. Be original. Chitsiru, nyani, gologolo opanda mutu iwe. For your own information, Ayatollah does not need a sounding board at all.

Well I don't really see the term Licifer as an insult. In fact I take it as a compliment. The fact that you still insist to lie about yourself is amazing. I like the way you abuse my knowledge and not even come up with an argument or a proof otherwise but end up calling me names.

But on the other hand you've not been to Malawi since you left and what corporate ladder. Give us a break!

LUSIFA, I do not have to prove jack shiit to you. It's your responsibility to get yourself up to speed. It is not the most intelligent thing to comment on issues blindly lest you make yourself look foolish. Like I said in my prior posting, let us take this debate elsewhere. I trully do not find this gymnastics intellectually stimulating. Next time you decide to debate tech with Ayatollah, make sure you have your facts straight. I mean, very straight.

Time out. The fact was that you've never left America to go anywhere even close to Malawi. You are the biggest liar I know. Not that we care what the hell you do for a living. Just don't think we all are stupid enough to believe the bull**** you come up with... Or even care... Thief!
