The Malawi 'Feed the Nation Fund' Committee and Malawian Community in DC are hosting an event to help Malawian families in need.



In October a state of disaster in 28 districts of Malawi was declared due to droughts that affected agricultural production and has led to food insecurity. Between April 2005 and March 2006 between 5 million of Malawi’s 12 million populations will be food insecure.


  


Malawi Nite:


Includes a silent auction of Malawian products/art, Malawian Music, Malawian food, and a cash bar.


Date: On Friday, Nov 18th , were hosting a "Malawi Nite"


Location: International Monetary Fund (IMF) in DC.


Time: 6:30 - 12:00 am
