There I was thinking Carlsberg is a Danish brew.

Anyway for those wanting everything Malawian why not consider ntchaso at parties and Chikokeyani.

TJ, why not try Malawi Gin and Premium Brandy instead of Ntchaso. You know Ntchaso is not good for you, but if you can bottle and import it, more power to you. I forgot to mention Powers!! You sound like you are a powers person, mafana okuswa miyala.(joke) (If you can't take jokes so be it.) Carlsberg broke my alcohol virginity so it shall remain my first love regardless where she is from.

Zuze

Zija zinali zocheza. Carlsberg is my thing too. Mpakana pano with dozens of choice I still go for the Danish brew.

My point was that it is very hard to stick to things Malawian. The choice now is very limited.

What we have to know is that there is a very big difference between Malawian beer, Malawian music and Malawian brewed beer and music by Malawians.

Recently we had a cultural evening and everyone was talking about how they were going to dress in their 'national' wear for the occassion.

For me it was difficult because as a Malawian, in all honesty, men do not really have a national wear. At least not that I know of. The best I could have done would have been to wear zibiya zakwathu ku Ntcheu.

This I did not have and even if I did it would have been too cold.

Enjoy your parties anyway. Peace!!
