KULI NJALA YOOPSA KU ZAMBIA, MOCAMBIQUE, MALAWI AND THE WHOLE OF SOUTHERN AFRICA AND THE WESTERN WORLD IS NOT MUCH BOTHERED ABOUT IT. AS I HAVE FIRST HAND NOTED HOW THE KATRINA IS BEING DEALT WITH, I DOUBT IF ANY WESTERN COUNTRY IS GONNA JUMP TO THE AID OF POOR AND POORER AFRICA WHEN THEY CANNOT EVEN HELP THE WEST ITSELF!!!!............SO MUCH FOR WESTERN AID AND DEPENDANCY!!!!! SO THIS IS WHERE WE SAY, IF YOU KNOW THE SITUATION OF YOUR PARTICULAR HOME,......DO WHAT YOU CAN. OF BINGU AND FIRING PPLE, FINE, GOOD FOR HIM, BUT OTHERS ARE NOW WORRIED HE IS GONNA BE ANOTHER DICTATOR. THIS IS JUST KUYAMBA.
Maybe this is actuallu a blessing in dsguise. Soon we'll realise that we really ARE on our own and learn to be self-reliant and rely less on aid. I mean, how can a large continent of millions of people not be able to grow adequate food to feed themselves. Food? What's Malawi's excuse? What's Zambia's excuse. Countries like Iceland or Luxembourg with less cultivatable land NEVER go hungry and Malawi; a coutry of farmers cannot manage that.
This is indeed a rude awakening. The problem with us Malawians is that we are good are talking. Ndakatulo too much. But when it comes to doing practical things nde basi chizungu chake ndi chiwiri chokha. Difficult and Impossible. No matter how good a developmental suggestion can be, we tend to down grade it into an impossible level. Kungoti tibweretse topic ya za ulimi wothirira apa munva chizungu chake chitatulukire. Ma environmental degradation phwi!! Komanotu tidzuke tsono chifukwa azunguwanotu ndiye alema. Njaladi nde iripo. Tangopitani ku Walemera uko, ku Namandanje, ku Wenya, ku Magombe, kwa Ngolowindo, kwa Sifakado, njala bwana mmwambamo kuno. Tifwenge.
Get rid of reliance on crops that get people high, Tabacco and Tea. Our largest exports, should diversify, look for an internal market.. How do we glep Malawi- Maybe- though it sounds cruel it is a blessing in disguise. African govts need to recognise that u cant rely on the AID of foreign govts. We need to get our own back... Sometimes lives have to be lost to see that, but alas , with Malawi people will die, and tommorow it will be the same mess... Looking forward to the future ... Black, Our story.
