Can you recommend some African (Anglophone to be specific) Authors other than good old Chinua Achebe? It would be interesting to read what the rest of Africa is writing about. Thanks .

Thanks Game and Blackpanther for your suggestions.  I have to managed to land on a copy of Marechera and still trying to locate the others. Suggestions are still welcome!

From Malawi: Steve Chimombo, The Rainmaker, Python, Python, etc; Jack Mapanje, Of Chameleons and Gods etc; Willie Zingani; Paul Zeleza; Felix Mnthali; Ben Malunga (who has recently translated Things Fall Apart into ChiChewa) and many more.


And Beyond: Zakes Mda;E'skia Mphahlele;Okot p'Tek; Taban lo Liyong etc.
