funny u should mention that this country claims to be a christian one. Well, it's a little unfair to classify America as a christian country. The people that claim that it is are just a minority that somehow found a way to oppress and condemn other groups(non-christians). Just a little F.Y.I., the first 5 U.S. presidents were deists. If you need me to explain what a deist is I will do so sometime.
But when it comes to the whole Gay marriage thing I think ppl dig way too deep into the issue. Just cause someone is gay doesn't neccesarily mean that they are more of a sinner. Heck, I'm straight and I know that I commit more sins/day than some fag who decides to get his salad tossed. All I'm saying is that none of us have the authority to judge. O.K., I've mumbled my fair share of B.S. for the day. Good weekend to all.

I thought gays marriages were happening outside of the churches, mosques...If it is a civil union as opposed to one sanctified by the church(or any other organized religious institution), then this debate has no forum based on moral or religious grounds. Some people have suggested calling the union something else other "marriage".I don't think a union between 2 people of the same sex fringes on my rights as a straight person. What goes on behind people's bedroom (as long as they are legal and consenting) in nobody's business but their own. We people should stop trying to police it.

Thou shall not judge"- :), I dont agree with homosexual lifestyle, but i accept 'em..but as far as marriage is concerned..i dont think dat they should b calling it "marriage"...obviously marriage is between a MAN & a WOMAN!!! ...just my 2 cents
