Remember that 3rd March play on MBC? Damn!! that was a cruel regime..we were even afraid to go and sh..t else someone will take that as an act of celebration. My expatriate teacher was given 24 hours to leave the country because he played tennis on 3rd march.
.....lest we forget....

I remember my neighbours gardenboy who was  a Youth leaguer going to check on his fellow gardenboy two houses away if he was drunk so that he should arrest him for being drunk on 3rd march,imagine...

hell i hated this day when that regime was active...all i could ever think about was for 6 o'clock to come so i could heard for ndirande tavern and guzzle chibagi (chibuku)...speaking of chibuku...damn!!! i miss that beer....never tasted sweet liquor like that one feel me?!!

Talking about Chibaki, thats one hell of a good beer right thuurrrr. Chibuku, muli kudya, momwemo muli kumwa. That beer kept me floating in secondary school, not forgeting kachasu (after kupinyoletsa ngini [blankets, shoes, suitcase]). We Malawians have indeed come far, mavuto timawadziwa but I wouldnt trade those days for anything.
