Just as we thought malawians have been liberated from the chains of tyrancy of m.c.p another political plague hits us again.when muluzi took power from kamuzu alot of people in mother land thought that the wind of change was now blowing not knowing it was a tsunami as it plundered and crashed our economy and freedom.now Bingu came and we thought maybe he will be the messiah he turned out to be as devastating to the economy as a natural phenomenon.when are we going to get out of this whirlwind of misfortunes?when will our leaders stop putting starks of our money in their homes and think of the plight of the local man?

I think Bingu is taking a good way. Its not only about being a good leader(bingu) but rather having people that are willing to follow(govt employees).
Malawi's Economy is in shambles because of several things. The falling of the Zimbabwean economy which is one of our trade partners. The anti tobacco campaigns, dwindling standards of tobacco quality from the motherland which in turn attracts lower prices. To mention a few.
The other thing which has been pointed out is that Malawi post secondary education is set up to train employees and not employers. I personally think that being an entrepreneur doesn’t come from training only but rather your own will, availability of resources and skill, it is a job for every Malawian to be creative and take venture in their own dream rather than just being copy cats and owning the same business as your neighbor.
