Geezus the anti-gay and homophobic rhetoric coming from you folks is quite disturbing. I can go on into hyperbolic overdrive in trying to reason with you folks but that would only stir up some more. I guess we were brought up to believe that homosexuality is disgusting and indecent and immoral and no amount of preaching about freedom of expression or choice would convince us otherwise. Forget the fact that the present US administration is so anti-gay anyway, that doesn't help.

Forget the fact that the Catholic church is still under the scandal of priests who've been abusing alter boys. I know that for a fact that happens in Malawi too. Funny how a celibate priest can preach about correct sexual practice. The hypocrisy is self evident.

My dear friend, can you honestly say that you have proof that he wasn't. I'm trying to make you "emancipate yourself from mental slavery" There are other discourses other than the well trodden religious christian one.

What I'm saying is we take for granted christianity as the truth... Why. As far as history is concerned it is only a distillation or rumors, misconceptions and downright lies. It's time we question its apparent infinite wisdom. I mean why on earth should I, a black African with a rich history and culture go to church to pray to a white Jewish man that lived 2000 years ago and call him my God?

That to me is one of the strongest psychological slavery that white folks have us kept in check. You might say bull-****, Jesus was black etc... I've heard evey excuse. Truth is he wasn't. We've grown up to believe without question that the representation of our God is a white man!!!

Did you mean my take on Darwin's theory? From my previous posts it is evident that I don't believe in God or the existence thereof. Why? Well like I tell my christian friends, the same reason you belive in God. I just take the polar opposite view.

Darwin was considered a heretic in his day. Even today in some US states, as you might be aware, christian pressure groups are still trying to ban his theory from schools. His theory is based on science. Observation, analysis, criticism, experiments. You know all the things they teach in science class. He was one of the first to challenge the wiew that the world was not as the bible put it created in 7 days.

Think about it. Do you even know the origins of the bible? I reckon you take for granted its claim of holy writ and are less knowledgeable about its historical content (or lack of it).

I don't want to go on about how fabulously ridiculous the Adam and Eve myths in the bible are and how impossible most of its clams are. But that might offend you since you've been; might I suggest, brainwashed into taking its truth for granted and are afraid to challenge it for fear of going to HELL!

So my dear friend, you are living in denial. Ignorance is the default mode of human thought and I don't claim to have the monopoly on the truth but what I do say is like they say in Spanish ABRE LES OJOS!
