Saw something similar to this on BBC, but am intrigued to know why people love Malawi - lets be positive. I believe there are probably things we find frustrating and slow (lets keep the negative stuff for someother day/month/yr). I am conviced there are also many things that we find/found fun and exhilarating. These are the things i want us to share.
Common even if its just a one liner (you don't have to elaborate why you love a certain thing)
Looking forward to your replies...
One of my many reasons :-
I love Malawi for its Zinyawu's & the way they used to dance - looking back i find them funny, fun, a bit scarely at the same time - i'd imagine they don't exist as they used to back then?...
Gee they once made me "almost" fracture my unkle... damn things
I love malawi first and foremost because it is home. I reminisce about my childhood years and i find nothing that I would change given a chance. I remember climbing mango trees, guava trees even papaya trees and no matter how bad my day seems to be,I smile. I remember eating green mangoes with salt making toys out of red clay, simple but satisfying. I remember playing soccer and fulaye with a ball made of sugar bags and I am happy. I remember living a carefree life with no fear of being hit by a stray bullet. I remember carrying chimanga chovika kusukulu and loving it alll. I remember chinangwa mbatata chimanga chachiwisi. I remember 3rd malichi! I remember growing without television but even up to now feel like I had it all! and that is why I LOVE MALAWI!!! thank you jr.
to those who grew up in area 47 we used to go to ntonongoli, bwanji kuventure ku civo nanga ku Dimpwii, ndani anapangako gumulira,pa chigoneka bwanji kadyaubwelele, back in the day life was fun mon,i remember killing khwangwala ndi legeni mpakana wakayombe kundijudula ndi jombo bwa.he said the bird was kamuzu's suit.

I love Malawi particularly Lilongwe, because its home dawg. As they say home is where the heart is. Lilongwe has the realest niggas men, all of us from LLs are just down to earth. Its the city of Hustlers + Lovers. Hustlers coz everybody is working their own hustle and trying to get paid by the end of the day. Lovers coz everybody gat love for everyone and we look out for each other. LLs town gat it locked down, we live the sh*t that we say and we say the stuff that we live. I am talking about the daylife and the nightlife, from Silver club - The Shack - Alexanders - Harry's Bar - Chez to Casino we know how to have a party [I shouldn't even mention the parties]. You should see the way we hang out: guys or guys and their girlfriends chillin' out with the table covered each sq. inch with booze and good soul food. I love LLs men, you know everybody and everybody knows you..its all love in the house. And you know sh*t won't go down coz you are one of them.
I was there last x-mas and believe me it was fun, I mean each and everyday was crunkjuice day, 'em boys know how to spend on fun.

I love Malawi because Malawian girls are the bravest in the world. Wondering how I came to this conclusion? A lot of homies would go and drink chibuku and kachasu with their homies and then they would hook up with their ladies later on for some lovin. Now 99% of y'all know that you wouldn't brush your teeth or chew gum after drinking & we all know how alcohol makes your breath stink. Nevertheless, akazi amakudyani milomo without saying anything. If thats not brave then I don't know what is.
So yeah, thats one of the reasons why I love Malawi.
