I live in Los Angeles(the city of dreams)but I am South Bend's own. **** what you heard but let it be known here that my people in the aforesaid city are ballin', living the real American dream, pushing some of the hardest vees America has ever seen(Benzos, Lex, BMWs, Navigators, you name it). Whereas you're struggling to make ends meet, living on $1000(MK100,000 before tax) the whole month and after going through piles and piles of books, they party whenever they please coz what you get now is just pocket change to them. The furniture on display in their cribs, only your Governor can afford, beleive that. Whereas you wear the same suit for until you cant fit in it, they dress their walk-in closets differently every season. When they don't feel good physically, they go consult with some of the best physicians on planet earth while you pay MK5,000 for asprin at Mwaiwathu or you're told to go consume lots of water at Kamuzu Central Hospital coz there are no drugs. Whereas you scramble for the same whores at Bwandilo, they have a wide range of choice from white, african american, african, asian or mexican honies and men who frequent their drinking joints and parties. While you sit down remniscing about your worries, they count their blessings. What more would one ask for, huh! So please, get a life. Stop hatin' on my people. The Billy Chilambula case is just an isolated incident and I see no point of stereotyping these fellas and honies. There are no fears whatsoever like you would like to allege on the 'nyasanet'. Go back to 'malawiana.net' and you will realise that there was more than one valentine party and that could be the reason why one of them was cancelled. It's not about the bull****  you're spittin'. We're real down here homie and doing it real big. And if the South Bend community decided to come home, I swear to God they will take over and will be on top the game. Mabanja ndi zibwenzi zizasokonekera osati masewera. To me, South Bend is just a dream and model malawian village outside Malawi. To my  people @ Bend, see you at 6 July in a different German engeneered vee. Brandon, Jama, Alinane, Masa, Ken, Tony, Jack, Vikhu and Florence, keep holdin' it down and I like your style. Lucky in Columbus-Ohio, you're my role model. You can respond through this net or privately at 'mzuzu4305@yahoo.com'. Holla at your boy!

Most people who have never been to South Bend will never understand us. Contrary to what most people have heard, South Bend Malawian community is a  very united and organised society. We party and mourn together. When someone loses their loved one even back home we gather, condole, pray and eat together. When it comes to partying we also do it to the extreme. Just like any other society there are bound to be a spectrum of characteristics of people. And obviously there wil be one or two who will fall to the extreme, the likes of Billy. So do not condemn the whole South Bend Malawian race for the sins of one person. And for your own info we had a nice Superbowl party over the weekend.

There is  a large number of malawians who go to college in south bend....who do businesses, buy houses, work hard...South bend is not just about going out...its about real life in the West.....Most malawians here have succeeded but the most important thing...is that...most of our children will actually do much better since..their are americans and we have laid a better foundation for them.....

To Andrew and y'all..it doesnt matter how one makes their bread coz to do that, there are so many variables at play. Andrew, I hope you've been to south bend yourself, or generally, the states coz if you havent, you may not appreciate how our brothers and sisters live their lives out there, and wot it takes for them to live the way they do.

andrew, be happy with wot you have on your plate...if u think you cud do better if you went to the states,  (at least you have some form of motivation-to beat malawians who went there ages ago!), so go ahead and try your luck getting a visa....

everybody, just be happy with what u have....u sweated for it, it's yours, enjoy it!

If some of you guys go to school I salute and encourage you to to do so until you graduate but if you dont go to school thats still ok not everything is lost. I am one of those who dont go to school but mind you, I am 25 years old and I have achieved a great deal financially so much that even my friends who went to college mostly likely will never be to able to reach where I am now. I know what you are thinking so far.....oh show offy... but thats not the main reason for writting this article but rather to encourage those who live outside Malawi more especially USA and UK that its never too late to start planning and saving . I could not afford to go to college because  the tuition was just too much and yet I had to pay other bills and the work and class schedule was just incompatible. I proud to let the world know that I am now able to pay for my sister college tuition and upkeep.
