Jamaican artist Sizzla has been banned inthe UK due to the ANT-GAY lyics in his songs.

This is another example of modern-day discrimination of black artists. Eminem gets away with it so why are they picking on this guy? They claim it's a free world with no discrimination of any type and someone can be supid enough to believe it until they read such news as a black artist being discrimated while a white artist gets away with the same ****. You gotta hate them policy makers...

Black people's success in the music industry is watched closely by some unfriendly forces.

While I agree that in this day and age any lyrics that may incite hatred or violence of any sort have no place, to blame Sizzla's music on increased violence on the gay community is unjust.

Most of the violence in the UK on gay people is perpetrated by white people. Most of whom get off on rave and have never heard of Sizzla or any of his music at all.

So there you go. Eminem will get away with it all coz his lyrics are found funny while Sizzla's are found offensive. Who said ears are colour deaf!

Not to support the gay movement or eminem but when it comes to anti-gay songs a one Sizzla Kalonji can not be compared to eminem. There was a time ( i think between 2001-2002) when gay people were being burnt in Jamaica ( ever heard that song burn dem?), Mr Kalonji not only fully supported it - the guy had an anthem for this gay killing movement. The anti-gay movement was fueled by artists like Buju, Red Rat, Sizzla et al (ragga rated X )and some of them ( i know about Buju, sizzla too now) have not being allowed to perform in the UK.

Now about the rave scene, you guys are right you got skin heads and all kind of wierdos hating everything that is either gay or (and) not white thats alive , yet they are allowed to play their stuff.

The whole thing kind of reminds me of an artist from Zambia who sang a song "Yakumbuyo" Those at home will be familliar with this. This guy's name is Danny K. He came to the Country for some shows and this song was getting big among the people. Mainly it was about how he got to some country and found men kissing and thought it strange and decided to write a song about it.  The lyrics in the song said something like he had a rich friend and he didn't know the friend was getting rich cause ' amatchayitsa yakumbuyo" (exact words from the song) It was banned in Zambia and malawi did the same after this guy came and left. The censorship board said the lyrics were explicit.

So Gay issues are everywhere, Much more pronounced in other countries though. Here it's on the low. do we have enuff gays to make noise for? I don't think so.

too bad for sizzla though......
