Could someone out there explain to me why the idiot men (Best Man and crew) are each carrying a Cigar in their hands? I trully don't see the relevance but may be I am just missing something. Some of the pictures look good but the Cigars seem just out of place. Or was this some sort of fashion frenzy in Malawi that those of us in the West may have missed? I just can't seem to understand the statement they are trying to portray to the kids at the wedding. I stand to be corrected
Its a free country brothaman. Talking about kids, carrying cigars around should be the least of your worries my friend. Are you also going to complain against the way we Malawians drink? Its not a secret that we drink like waulele and we even take our kids to BBQ's where they watch us shamelessly flaunting our styles, chasing other peoples wives/girlfriends, getting drunk whereby we become public nuisances, running away when time comes to contribute for alcohol, drooling over half naked, free for all, stank mamacitas while your babymama is a few feet away, fighting with fellow Malawians for reasons that would make our families back home cry in shame (they might even consider disowning us), .............the list is endless.
Bottom line: Nobody gives a hoot (I meant to use the other four letter word) about cigars blah blah blah. If you dont like it, go dig yourself a hole and jump in. I am sure you took courses in "kukumba nkhuti 101" , and youthweek 1964-1994 in primary school and "kugaula ndime 400" as soon as you were old enough to "kugwila Khasu/kuswa mphanje", might as well use those skillz. That way you dont have to spend money on "tameki" for your suicide.
I like your posting kid. This is the exact response I was hoping for. Right now, I am in the middle of something but be promised that I will get back at you dog. Stay tuned for Ayatollah.
